This has to be your best so far, it is brilliantly directed, this isn’t just dinosaurs because you managed to create a real sense of environment and cohesion that rivals the very best documentaries out there. I think the music is also a real step forward as it helps creating this sense of cohesion and personality which the original series had. This isn’t just a video on KZbin, this is art. Quite Frankly Brilliant. This was just an amazing episode. The environment felt lived in, real and cohesive with every animal making sense to be there and doing what it was doing. The portrayal of the different seasons was also fantastic. I really like how this episode stopped to focus more on smaller species who are often overlooked by paleo media in favour of the big carnivores and herbivores. So it was nice to see the oreodromeus' difficulties on their migration (Including a watering hole straight out of the African savannah). The Gorgosaurus were also done well as they were also clearly portrayed as just animals and whilst they did hunt it was very clear that they were not bloodthirsty monsters, but instead just animals forced to an extreme alliance to survive. If I had one very small nit-pick it would be the Deinosuchus as it felt a bit underutilised as it only appeared twice, Once in the sea where it was set up and then at the end where it appeared again but did nothing which I felt was slightly disappointing. That being said I fully understand the limitations of the game and how it would be impossible to have it interact with the land dinosaurs so it was a bit of a no win scenario as lengthening the deinosuchus segment in the sea could slightly break the cohesion of the rest of the story. But overall that was a very minor nitpick and everything else was perfection. Overall I'd say this is one of your best works so far and may even top Hostile lands of Asia as my favourite from the series.

I just saw the clip, of that film called 'Lucy where she travels back in time. And I have too say, that 20 sec clip was the best representation of how it was back then I've ever seen. Because every species from the plants to insects was totally Alien, and I just pray they've captured the environment as it was back then. If your ever by a pond or lake on a sunny day just take the time too look at the amount of life that is whizzing by, my point is, that it must of been like that, back then. Good job. Nice way to start Season 2. The beginning was really nice. This episode kind of reminds me of Spirits of the Ice Forest in a way. With the small ornithopods, Leaellynasaura in the original documentary and in this case, Orodromeus, surviving in a hostile environment. The Hypacrosaurus act as the Muttaburrasaurus (kind of). Gorgosaurus acts as the Polar Allosaur. And Deinosuchus acts as the Koolasuchus. All the scenes with the Deinosuchus were done quite well. It would have been great to see it hunt some of the creatures. Archelon or Protostega would have been great to see in this too as Deinosuchus probably would have eaten the sea turtles that live around the Western Interior Seaway. The Stenonychosaurus scene was nice. I do think they would have looked much better with feathers. I could understand the Gorgosaurus not having feathers but Stenonychosaurus, no. Although that can't be helped. Maybe when Dominion releases with a (hypothetical) DLC/Update we'll see a surge in Feathered Dinosaur mods for the game. And not just dinosaurs but also pterosaurs too. But that's really my only nitpick but besides that great job. I look forward to seeing what you can do with this series, especially with the man different species coming with Dominion and the new content that may come with it to the game.

Wow, you made this from the JWE 2 game? That's amazing!! I really enjoyed watching this more than I thought I was going to. I really love the sounds in this, from hearing the Orodromeus, the soundtrack in the background which makes everything feel more intense and of course the narrator who has such a calming, beautiful voice. I also really love what you captured, especially watching the sun roll down in sped-up time, exactly like a documentary. An overview of the plains, smoothly following the dinosaurs as they walk, overview of the herds, even night vision of the scavengers with light eyes. I really enjoyed watching the carnivores patrol over the herd as well, it was exactly like how carnivores as of today obverse a herd, seeking a prey that will be easier to hunt. A bit disappointed though that they hunted two different species because the narrator said they were meant to hunt together to increase their chances, but it felt more like an individual hunt instead. However I do understand you're limited with that because it is a game. I also don't think two carnivores who are strangers would team up like that, unless they were already bonded. I would have been happy to have just seen the one. I do wish I also saw more Orodromeus interactions, even if it is the same one but in different angles. Overall, pretty satisfying to watch. I am looking forward to seeing more, leaving a thumbs up in hopes you will continue to do more of these in future.
