Glad you made this video, I just bought a pair of the storm eagles, starting myself a Night Lords army. Always had hoped one day we would see a remake of Epic Warhammer. This has been fun, I think ill be picking up both the Storm Raptors squad + a pair of Thunderhawks, I like the idea of one setup more, in the fight, wings up gears in, and a second one setup for coming in on a landing, really love these smaller scale models!

Nice model. I keep hoping GW comes out with true epic 40K again, between these and the great titanicus models….

Excellent review! I'm half done building mine right now. Considering trying to magnetize the S foils to make them hold their position but it's probably not worth it.

Wow. For that price I get a complete "Hit the Beach" starter set from Flames of War with 8 M4A1s, 3 Panzer III, a V1 with launcher, two PAKs, rules, unit cards and dice. smh

I'm glad they finally made this in plastic but I don't like the ship's redesign. I think it will be changes like this, and scale creep, that finally pushes me to get into 3D printing.

The newest thing in 3d printing for 40k is alternate scales. If you have the chance to see or play 40k in 15mm, its fantastic. Think flames of war scale. The scale makes so much better sense than full size. Also, 30k and 40k in 6-8mm is great too. Titans and thunderhawks and massed battles like 40k was always shown in the drawings.

Why ultramarine Imperial fest is screaming for this kit to be built.

The Thunderhawk may not be the largest model afterall. That crown is contested by the $97 ForgeWorld Ork MegaBommer. Although I have yet to put mine together, I remember the pieces being larger than the ThunderHawk. Since I’ve finished my ThunderHawk, I should start building my MegaBommer to see!

I forgot about that one as I don't own it but it makes sense. 97 bucks, ouch! Looks pretty cool though

@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall I just pulled it out of the box - the Thunderhawk beats it in length by about an inch! But the Ork MegaBommer makes up in girth! I won’t be able to measure the exact width until I put it together though - but it is much wider from what I can tell. The hull alone is wider than the Thunderhawk’s. Well, I’m gonna need some good glue and plenty patience in the coming week! I don’t understand why this couldn’t be a plastic kit!
