I went to visit you guys out there and got stopped at the boarder, since I am a felon they didn’t allow me to go in and banded me from ever going out there. They told me that I have to do a Reentry program , I been serving the Lord for 12 years. I have my bachelors degree in Biblical Studies. I love Jesus and have been born again, I know the enemy used that to try to stop me from going to visit. I wanted to link up with Pastor Lynn, I also believe I have a God given gift to minister, I did a lot of prison time and that’s where God transformed my life. I will make it out there no matter how long it takes me, if it’s God’s will of course.

I really enjoyed this video-it is very helpful for my own studies so that I can one day minister to other women and children. I learned a few new insights that help me to better understand and explain God's kingdom. I also agree that celibacy is the best standard, marriage being second. However, I think it is clear that a man is to have only one wife, and a woman is to have one husband and they are to be faithful to one another and remain faithful to one another for life. The Bible is a historical account of real peoples lives, and it records both sins and faithfulness of men and women. Biblical accounts about men having multiple wives does not mean that polygamy is not a sin and that God permits multiple wives/polygamy. The Bible also records Davids sins of being adulterous with Bathsheba and arranging for her husband to be murdered, it records Peter's sin of denying Jesus three times, it records Abraham's sin of lying to Pharaoh about Sarai being his wife, and so on. In Matthew chapter 19, the pharisees come to Jesus and try to test him with a question about divorce. Jesus replied to the pharisees in verses 4-6 **He answered, "Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, 5 and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6 So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."** From the beginning, God created Adam and created Eve with a piece of Adam's body, but Adam and Eve once again became one flesh in marriage. God did not create multiple women from Adam to join with him as one, he created ONE woman to join with him as his wife. God's original plan from creation was one man and one woman in marriage-anything outside of his plan for marriage is a sin. 1 Corinthians 7 talks about the principles of marriage. Verse 4 says this **4 For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.**. The husband and wife have authority over one another's body because they belong to one another. A man cannot give authority over his body to another wife when he already gave his "first" wife authority over his body, and vice versa for the wife. The reasoning of a barren wife and having children is not a valid reason for a man to take another wife. If it is God's will for a husband and wife to bear their own biological children, then they will bear children. If it is not his will for them to bear biological children, then they will not bear them. Adopting orphaned children has always been an option for married couples, and it one of the most loving things a married couple can do. In our modern times, adoption is still an option, but there are other ways of bearing children now. There are fertility treatments, surrogate mothers who can get pregnant, carry a married couple's child, and give birth to their child--all without being a wife or committing adultery. In addition to other ways of having children, having multiple wives to bear children can cause a dysfunctional family and can be very hurtful to everyone involved, including the children. The Bible gives a very good example of how dysfunctional and hurtful this can be in Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar's story in Genesis. Sarah gave her slave, Hagar, to Abraham to be his wife so that they could have children. After Hagar became pregnant, the two women began to despise one another and Sarah blamed Abraham for her misery, even though she was the one who gave Hagar to Abraham as a second wife! Sarah started to mistreat Hagar, and Abraham did not protect Hagar and allowed Sarah to do what she wanted with Hagar. Eventually, Sarah gave birth to Isaac, and she did not want Hagar's son, Ishmael, to be an heir with Isaac. Sarah demanded that Abraham force Hagar and Ishmael to leave, and Abraham was unhappy about this. After leaving, Hagar and Ishmael suffered and were close to death, but God looked after them. Even though God looked after them, Hagar was left without a husband, Ishmael without a father and no inheritance, Abraham lost a son, Isaac lost his brother, and and they all suffered greatly. There was a lot of dysfunction, hurt, unfaithfulness, unfairness, jealousy, and hate during the time Hagar and Ishmael were with them, and a lot of dysfunction and hurt after Hagar and Ishmael had to leave. This account is just one example of how emotionally and spiritually harmful polygamy can be.

It shocked me to hear David Lynn not give a clear No or Rejection on Polygamy. I firmly Believe it is NOT God's will for any man regardless of culture, hierarchy position(King or Queen) to have multiple wives or husbands if they are born again believers. I agree with your comment and am very pleased to see you gave multiple biblical accounts proving Polygamy is not of God's Will, but of man's will.

Everything you said never negated the law about this in the Old Testament nor did it outrightly condemn it which is the point. You just shared your own perspective. One could make the argument that monogamous marriage is bad based on the fact that the first monogamous marriage brought problems to humanity. I could pick and choose monogamous marriages in the Bible and show problems and I can pick other marriages and show the lack thereof. This is the problem with this kind of thinking. The question is did God ever condemn it in the law or amongst the patriarchs? Was it listed as one of the sexual taboos in the book of Leviticus or not? Was David condemned for his 8 wives or for Bathsheba being another man’s wife? I totally understand why you feel this way, but not accurately dealing with this subject leaves a lot of gaps in biblical interpretation. Hope that helps

@@christsforgiveness There are many things not mentioned in God's Word David, regardless if the law did not explicitly state that having multiple wives is a sin, We can confirm God's Will for marriage in the New Covenant with many passages. Out of all the subjects that are debatable, Marriage is so clear on the point of ONE Man and ONE Women joining together and becoming ONE flesh in Marriage. That is Gods will. Polygamy is obviously not the LORDS Will for our lives.

@@Hector-n3q8x Question? Will a homosexual marriage ever be accepted in the body of Christ even if two homosexuals got married before they found Jesus? Do they need to divorce? And why? What about a person married to 5 wives and then becomes a Christian, is it accepted? Should he divorce 4 and stay with one?

Pastor David is not an incarnation of anyone. Incarnation of humans is a central belief of Hinduism, not Christianity. Incarnation is when a "deity" or spirit takes an earthly/fleshly form. The only person who incarnated is God Himself as Jesus.
