With all due respect, but God is only in control as we (the Church) invite him into the affairs of this world and If it is in his divine will. Re: I John 5:14,15 - Because God gave mankind dominion over the earth realm; which has never been rescinded. And yes , it is true that the first man Adam abdicated his dominion and by default in his disobedience, gave his dominion to the one he obeyed; Luke 4:6. But Jesus having paid the sin debt, reconciled man back to God, and restored the earth back its rightful place under the dominion of man; namely the Church. So there you have it in a nutshell. I John 5:14,15. Another scriptural mystery is St John 5:27 , in which Jesus refers to himself as the Son of Man .. This is significant because God could not come into the earth realm as God ; which would’ve violated the Eden mandate of dominion. Jesus was the physical manifestation of God . He died as a sinless man . He set aside his Godhead ability and became the sacrificial lamb. Colossians 2:9 in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. St.John 1:1 is the parallel scripture to Genesis 1:1. If you already understand this spiritual truth; perhaps someone else will be edified in knowing it as well.
