I attended a church where the pastor’s wife stopped attending. She *might come maybe once a month.... maybe every 6- 7 weeks but threee/four services a weekend ... no... she wasn’t there even one time for one service. She’d show up annually on the pastor’s anniversary aervice and stand in front with him to be acknowledged and to receive the recognition from the congregation but, other than that, whatever was going on at home/ in their marriage, no.... she wasn’t coming to church. I’m talking about for years. 10plus years. Currently . To this day. She doesn’t come. I stopped attending the church (for many reasons) but for large part because this pastor’s relationship was troublesome and this seemed to be a character issue, imo No one ever mentioned this formally in the church (a leader saying “Mrs XYZ is ill.. keep her in your prayers...”) and because she obviously doesn’t come, of course, we all could speculate on all kinds of reasons why, which one of them is “to blame” for it and what the pastor is really like but all we know is she does not come. 😥 The pastor never mentions his wife from the pulpit in any sermons, stories or family anecdotes. To hear him tell his stories, you’d think he’s single... “I was on a trip...” Her photo isn’t on anything church related, she’s not in any ministry.... She’s just not a part.😥 The point of all that is our families need so much healing, in every position. We continue to pray for pastors and their families. It takes a lot to be in that role. Pastors are leaving the pulpit left and right and we pray for their strength.

He did the right thing. I was married to a pastor and he's one way behind the walls of the church and totally opposite at home. He would scream and holler at me on the way to church or stay silent. He was hateful and aggressive at home until I finally left.

It's good you left your unequally yoked marriage. Even though I wasn't married to a pastor I stayed over thirty years. Finally I took him to court and the judge made him leave. I took him to court after a woman came to my door to tell me to go get him from his mistress house. I did because a week before that he told me that he had stopped cheating and I believed him.He eventually married her. Even after that he'd come to my house crying/begging me to take him back. He went all over our small town telling anyone that would listen that I was the best woman he'd ever had. He called me hollering and crying apologizing to me a few days before he passed He also told everyone that he was lying about the things he said about me. I asked God to make him do that and God did. I'm sorry my text is so long. I pray that God keep and bless you with a healthy,long and prosperous life as His presence, anointing and favor be in and with him. Enjoy your day Sweetheart.

I am reading the comments and it is disturbing that we can't rejoice for a man and a woman living out the scriptures. This is why the church has become wax cold. I am praying for the man and woman of God because it is not easy feeding God's sheep, and some times we are so busy feeding the sheep that those closes to us are starving. We need to cover our leaders in prayer because ministry is hard work and we want mercy from the leader but rarely have mercy for the keader.

It's disturbing to see the comments but it's refreshing to see what kingdom marriage truly looks like and the only reason why people have such a problem with it is because it has not been displayed properly in the body of Christ in the kingdom of people have been hearing the scriptures but not living the scriptures so that's why they can't recognize true Kingdom marriages when they see but that is what God is building in this season so people better get ready to hear the truth and truly see what kingdom marriages and living truly looks like cuz God is on the move and he's moving in every area in this nation God's will shall be done on Earth as it is in heaven 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

In today’s time where people wear their pride as crowns, it’s such a blessing to see real ones that stand out in truth, accountability and humility for God. The devil hates marriage because it imitates God’s love and commitment to us DAILY in spite of our flaws! I loved it when he said, “I don’t want you to miss God because of me.” THAT IS A TRUE MAN OF GOD! And real preachers understand that your FIRST ministry is your family, not the church! Also, it is evident that the wife has a real relationship with God. Her presence and the way she speaks exemplify a true woman of God and a great wife. I truly believe that this gesture has helped many marriages and it was a great lesson for singles. This was so beautiful that it blessed me to tears. I endured several years of infidelity until one day I just told him ,I love you enough to let you go. He is now married to another woman and I chose to remain . It's 18 yrs since he is out of my life. My desire is to honor the most high. He has given his life to God ,and now he calls me for advice. I find myself sometimes being a counselor to him and his new wife with nothing but the love of God. I wish them well, the rest is up to God. Continue to Love your wife Pastor and may your wife do the same. Take it from me, a divorce especially after many years is like death of a loved one. It was for me and my 3 children. Even today my kids are grown people, but they are still traumatized from that divorce . Divorce is an evil weapon. God bless !

People need to see that their leaders have problems too. He apologized to her and confessed his wrongdoing in front of his congregation. Valley Kingdom.... you have a true man of God.
@dorothymckay3565Ай бұрын
There was no need to apologize in public. It was a private situation at home and that where it should have stayed in my opinion.
@seedofabraham31Ай бұрын
@@dorothymckay3565 I agree, it was a private matter, but the pastor felt need to apologize to his wife in public and to show his congregation he's not perfect and also ( confessed ) before God's people . This man humbled himself in front of his wife and everyone.

Really I thank God for her. If she didn't go to God, may be her husband wouldn't have realised his error. It takes the Spirit of God to be silent and rely on God. May the Lord give me this kind of grace to live for Him (God) alone; thereby making me a better person to my future husband and anyone around me

Ministering on so many levels - singles, marriages, men and women, youth, families… the level of authenticity and displaying your heart posture of who your first love and responsibility is to is humbling. I felt this one and no, I am not that nosey. I don't need to know what happened, plus when you tell too much, people will add this to the gravy and then it gets to be too salty, runny and then something simple becomes something nasty. I loved when he turned the mic off and spoke directly too her.
