I really like what you said on this one and about Dax's faith. In a couple of his other songs he shows anger and frustration, but you can still tell that he has faith. I think the difficult questions that he asks and some of his songs are good. Struggle Jennings is another great man that does the same thing. Have you seen struggle Jennings song "Cry for Help" yet? It's another amazing song. He sings it with his daughter.

We don't have to "become" a child of God. We already are by birth. The only question is: How long does it take us to remember, amidst all the noise trying to tell us, we climed of a tree once? :-) Dax is absolutely right: if "you" want to see God, look in the mirror and he`ll be staring right back at "you". Not because "you" are God, but because "you" have been created in his image and so there is "God's fingerprint", the "devine spark" within, also the connection to the most high is within us. We are so much more than we have been taught. Jesus himself told us, but still we do not dare to believe it. Be blessed.
