I'm a pastor's kid, and our family’s a mess, but we have to pretend everything’s fine. I've watched my dad pour his life into ministry, fighting to hold our family together (broken marriage), dealing with health issues, and unfruitful ministry . He’s stayed humble, never asked for money from people, always prayerful yet this is how his life has been. And honestly, I don’t even have a friend I can open up to. Sometimes I scroll through my contacts just to realize there’s no one I can really talk to, my helmet’s probably seen more tears than anyone else. I’ve accepted that this is life. If God blesses you, thank Him. If not, thank Him anyway that’s just how it is. I'm broken but I'm gonna be alright.

Eventhough you are broken the choice of words, the faith on god is amazing. May god bless you and your family. Just remember this are all tests by god, just hold on never lose faith.

THANK YOU FOR SHARING, I AM A PASTOR KID, WHO JUST WENT AWAY FROM GOD BECAUSE OF THE PEOPLE OF GOD, WHO SHOWED CRUELTY TOWARDS OUR FAMILY, THAT INCIDENT MADE ME GO AWAY FROM GOD, AND THEN BY MOM'S TESTIMONY AGAIN I GOT INTO GOD , NOW I AM GROWING IN FAITH, AND DAY BY DAY I AM IMPROVING MYSELF IN GOD.

Loneliness is a part of everyones life, happy to hear it in the podcast

I really love the message conveyed in this video, but just wanna clarify, two things, 18:42 Firstly, the statement, "I am in the world, but I must not be of the world", see it is true that we are in the world, and with some stuff like music and movies we do not have explicit instructions from the Bible regarding it. However, the Bible does say, whatever we do it must be for God's glory (1 Cor 10:31), sometimes there are certain movies/songs which are straight up worshipping Satan, and glorifying Him, and when we also take part in watching it, it is definitely not glorifying God. However, I still believe it is wrong to force people to take a decision regarding this. I LOVE music, and I believe music is a language, it tell our sorrows, our pain, our love, and also our praise, for me, music is an expression, my playlist is mostly filled with Christian music, but even the non-christian music I listen to is heavily curated, I make sure it is not demonic or putting God down in any way, and only then do I listen to it. This is my stance in this matter. I believe as Christians it is not a sin to listen to secular music, but it must be heavily curated, and must not take over our time with God, or lead us to sin. My perspective about this has been constantly changing as my relationship with Christ grows, but as of now, this is what I hold to, it may change in the future, but as of now this is what I have learnt. 19:10 Secondly, See Jesus loves us more than anyone, and sometimes He does directly tell us things, but He can use human channels as well, He speaks through humans to us. In the Bible when God wanted to talk King David, there were times He directly spoke with Him, but also there are times He spoke through prophets and priests.

Jesus said Fill the Jars with Water. And They did.Jesus didnt explain why ? I have learnt that's implicit obedience. I do realize and totally accept that we do find Job's friends in today's Christian community, who in the disguise of comforting, judge us thinking that they are too Spiritual. I dont approve that. But,If someone whom you know so well, who walks with the Lord, tries to advise you. Dont ask why. We mature as we age. We might sometimes not be matured enough to understand what they say. So,it's ok to just trust and obey. A Pastor's kid who so badly messed up but saved because of the Peace God gave through His blood, Saying this in Peace.
