I once got yelled at by a preacher for "putting myself in a man's place" because after my late husband was crippled I took over yardwork, home repairs, car maintenance and finances. I am in a relationship with an overweight person, who is more round shaped than overweight. He really shows any extra weight. However this never bothered me, because we are so much alike in our personalities. We finish each others sentences and even "read" each others thoughts. Plus there are other aspects to a healthy love life than appearances. It ain't the boat that you are skippering; it's how many fish you can catch.

The reason women "let themselves go" is that married women still do the majority of the house cleaning, the majority of the cooking, the majority of the child rearing, and work a full time job. After all that, who has time to workout and put on makeup. If their men would do their fair share, then maybe they be able to fix themselves up a bit. Personally, 1) I'm a male who is pro-chocie but feels that it's ultimately a women's right/choice to take birth control and that Roe V. Wade should remain in effect as it is. 2) When it comes to the 1st and 2nd trimester, I don't agree with the argument that the baby is truly alive even with a heartbeat since it also lacks a brain, its lungs, and an immune system, which are needed to keep it alive. 3) I believe that once that baby is born it should have affordable medical care/coverage for its entire life since I'm pro-life in that regard. And 4) I don't believe male politicians should be able to create laws regulating what women can or can't do with their own bodies when that sets a precedent for female politicians to create laws regulating what men can do to theirs.
