Shaunie O'Neal's husband and pastor tells woman to be quiet in a viral video while she was allegedly catching the Holy Spirit. Churchgoers defended Pastor Keion Henderson and said the woman yells every church service and it's disruptive to other attendees. Henderson also cleared the air while on the Tamron Hall Show and said he's had several conversations with her but she did it publicly after being asked not to.

What can be said is that this kerfuffle has caused all kinds of mess and controversy in unnecessary ways. That's like me or someone else going to church and if I worship too loud to be told to shut up... Worship isn't a disturbance in God's house. The irony was hearing silence in the name of Jesus, then began to praise after. Again, only God truly knows at this point. If anything, pray.

It may have looked out of order to some people, but the Holy Spirit is never out of control. And if Pastor Henderson has spoken to her about this before on several occasions and she still continues to do that, it’s rebellion. But I hear what you’re saying, but at the same time, that’s why discernment is important to have to recognize the difference between a demon and the Holy Spirit.

The pastor has both the authority and the responsibility before God to shut down any spirit that is a distraction. One person allowed to manifest will affect the whole service. He not only had the right - he needed to shut it down in any way that was effective. What he did worked.

I've been in a service once where one lady begun to make a bunch of noise. To some without discernment it may have looked spiritual but even I felt in my spirit it was off. The pastor very quickly shut her down. I don't remember how he did it but when it was dealt with later I recall her arguing and being upset about it when they were trying to talk to her about it after the meeting. What she was doing was totally distracting the flow. She has to be dealt with. That was literally the most spiritual thing to do. Not everyone has discernment but we must trust that the pastor does! People that are teachable can be told very softly and they will adjust immediately. People who are not, have to be dealt with accordingly. Sometimes it's ignorance, sometiemes rebellion. What people need to realize that these are holy moments and not just everything goes. People are literally connecting with God, some repenting, giving their lives to Jesus.

I've seen it done several times at my mother's church from the paster, the usher hell church has changed. We are not back in the stone ages as some on this stage think so um get a clue. Jesus was preaching and all of a sudden a distraction happened to disturb the preach because a man all of sudden started crying then yelling out about he knew who Jesus was. I'm going to have to reverse what I said after seeing the entire video. She was disruptive, and he should send her packing there is a Church here in Houston I'm sure that would be okay with her yelling, and it wasn't the yelling for me, it was that I couldn't hear him singing because of it, it seems to be a call to worship he was singing, whatever the case he was polite about it. I have a cousin that likes to be seen and she does that at everybody's funeral.

One of the fruits of the Spirit is self-control. We should be practicing these fruits if we proclaim to be children of GOD. Attending church should not be a tradition of religious practices carried from generation to generation, but a desire to do the will of the Lord; worship the Almighty God; and to grow in grace by spending time with God, studying/reading the Word, praying and worshipping God daily. This should be a lifestyle of practice.🙏🏽❤️

I’m a pastors daughter and my dad has never hushed anyone that God was using and I have seen them pray demons out of people but if you really went to a holy ghost, tongue speaking church , mothers would interrupt a song and start speaking in tongues or some thought right ?? The pastor never has shushed that so why would he shush her praise , who is he ? I don’t care if every Sunday she cries aloud , she should until God work that thang out , whatever it is ! What y’all missing is the fact in my “opinion “ he just wanted to sing and that is the truth !! So let me get this straight...he is a powerful pastor filled with the power of the Holy Spirit able to cast out demons with the evidence of speaking in tongues....he can do All that but did not have the power to cast out this demon for 4 years??? That demon has earned his place there. After 4 years him and that demon is a member and has equal rights to that church and should be allowed equal time to speak without interruption. The demon should sue.

There's a huge difference between catching the Holy Spirit and just flat out wanting to be the center of attention. Was Pastor Henderson wrong for snapping his fingers at her? Well the pastor said he has had ushers and other ppl of the church speak to this lady constantly about her actions for months and years. I dont think she's expressing the real holy spirit tho because the average person would just leave and go to another sanctuary to worship freely. So i believe she's acting out on purpose to get under that pastors skin.

We have a church member who blurts out scripture every Sunday. Everyone, including the various pastors we had, (4 pastors throughout the years) ignore her and go on with the service. I think this pastor is feeling arrogant.
