My heart goes out to her. Both Pastors were in the closet. Darnell had nothing to lose but acted selfishly knowing the risk of infecting Jamal. Surely Jamal knew his hidden desires, and those desires became alive with Darnell. He should have never married knowing he was unsure about his identity. I'm sure he loved his wife and his unborn child, but gave into his hidden desire and acted upon it. He destroyed the lives of three people and now is paying for it with deep regrets. He and Darnell were victims of each other's bad decisions. There are many Jamal and Darnells out there struggling with their hidden feelings and for whatever reason, are afraid to show their true identity because of social discrimination. No matter what society thinks, they have to be real and accept themselves for who they are. It's a difficult journey, but no one has the right to judge or condemn them. That's not up to us, we all have our own battles and flaws.
