May I say this with all respect and due restraint, but you young man are a gift to God’s people. One thing that marks your teaching and shepherding through the Word is your humility before it. Thank you. Even the internet has become a place for people to flash their gifts and knowledge as in a market of wares. Not so with you. I pray you and your wife and family will be kept in the good hands of the Lord all throughout your lives and ministry. Thank you for all you do.

There is a great symbolic logic Theron that shows if God creates everything perfect it will not stay perfect because only God is perfect and unchangeable. It proved God did not create an as you go plan but dialed up the commitment to us by sending Christ to die for our sins and more. You brought tears to my eyes, as always when people speak how Christ died for us, as it is so beautifully personal but sad but beautiful. All Glory to God, Christ and The Holy Spirit. Thank you for an A++++ video. More please, you know how to explain.

I recently heard that we can assume, due to God's love and foreknowledge and power and goodness, that He chose to create the world in this way and set things up so our first parents could and would fall, because He knew this was the very best plan. It was the best and most effective way to bring the greatest salvation to His children. We don't always know the _ultimate_ reason for all things, but we can trust that God loves His children. I take comfort in my life from a corollary to this idea: because I have tried to follow God's commandments in the scriptures and His direction through the Holy Spirit I can trust that He has led me down the paths He desires me to tread. Some of those paths are temporal, like how we recently moved to a new town, and some of those paths are spiritual and govern how I walk with Him. But I know He has had a hand in my life.

In the book of Jude, he says be merciful to those who doubt in the book of James it says be compassionate to those who doubt.. the Trinity understands we're gonna have times of doubt it's normal but working through those times develops a greater conviction. Allows your faith to be deepened

Very nice camera Dr.Bryan, the quality of video is superb. Art is also a form of worship. This is not strange to Lutheranism, from icons to stained glass windows in the Church. My take from this video - we dont speculate on what the Lord did not say explicitly in His word, instead focus of what He said in His word.

Here’s a hard question, if we are sealed with Christ in the Resurrection of all people, how can we not sin but were able to sin along with the angels at the time of Eden? What a mystery.

Adam didn't just blame Eve he also blamed God because he said, " it was the woman that you gave me."
@br.m15 күн бұрын
Should Christians speculate? I mean if we don't try to go through the "why door", is it ok if we imagine what is on the other side? Or should we put our mind on things that are above the why door? Another thing that came to mind. Could Adam and Eve have been like the devils forbidden fruit? Of course the devil couldn't help himself. Nor could Adam and Eve help themselves. We can't help ourselves either. I guess it's too late for the devil, but we still have a chance through Jesus.

"I believe that I can't believe..." I think there's a misunderstanding of what faith is. I wonder if it is often thought of in the same vein as Rome thinks of the 'infusion of grace' (that brings about those things that please God from us). As if faith were infused in us to then "exercise" (taken from the video) to precure the pleasure of God; since "without faith it's impossible to please Him. The example used was the man desperate to save his son, "Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” "If you can believe." Does this answer if he can or can't believe? Jesus' next few words emphatically answers this question, "all things are possible to him who believes." That answers the question of the man's ability to believe. If he's the one who believes, then he's the one for whom all things are possible. You NEED FAITH to please God. If there be any doubt, then the expectation to receive anything from the Lord can't exist. Your righteousness isn't enough. You can't do what you must do perfectly. Your faith isn't enough. You don't believe what you must believe. To tell one to believe is as to tell one to be perfect as God is perfect. Works and Faith are equally unattainable. I hear the objections, "That's not what Jesus means!" But it is most certainly what is meant. Consider Peter's question, "Who then can be saved?" Jesus looked at them (perhaps the look of the 'aha moment') said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Jesus is the "Him" that all things are possible for. “If you can believe, all things are possible to HIM who believes.” "FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen." This isn't a definition of faith but rather a declaration of Christ. What was hoped for? Answer: The fulfillment of God's promise, the last Moses, the last Joshua, the last Angel, the last Adam, the Redeemer, the Messiah, the Seed of the Woman! 'Without JESUS, it is impossible to please Him... Let none defraud you by shadows, which were prefigures of the Substance, and that is Christ. Jesus is the Substance of all that was hoped for. Jesus is the image of the invisible God. "When you've seen Me, you've seen the Father." He is the Word made flesh that is NOW seen. The Promise is seen in the flesh of Christ. Jesus is the evidence of things not seen; and He is our faith from first to last. The man cries out, "Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!” What seems to go unrecognized is just how Jesus helped his unbelief. He cast the demon out of his son, lifted him up, who was as dead, and gave him to this man, his father. In other words, Jesus DID(it)ALL, giving him faith by giving him His works done for his son and him. Jesus was this man's faith from first to last. What Jesus was telling the man (who asked "if He can do anything..?") You can trust Me to do everything needed to save your son. Jesus is the One who trusts the Father and does all His will. The kind of "faith" he was giving to the man was as the faith of the snake bitten Israelites, "look at that bronze serpent on the pole." There aren't any claims that some looked but didn't get healed because they didn't have faith. To look was to have God's word. Can you imagine Naaman coming back to Elisha and saying that he dipped and didn't get healed, and Elisha saying, "That's because you didn't have enough faith"? Of course not! Dipping was faith. Do you see Sarah's faith? By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. How did she do that? Oh yeah, by faith! If you understand the writer of Hebrews' direction, that he is directing from the shadows to the Substance, then you will see that "Faith" is Christ Jesus our Lord. Faith is the word of promise given to laughing Sarah. Her laughter couldn't undo the word of God. The word given to her was her faith. We have been given, washed in, the waters of His Word. Don't you know that ALL of us baptized into Christ have put on Christ? You can't produce any better fruit than that! His WORD given to you is ALL the faith needed; and it is given through sure and certain means. "I believe! Help thou my unbelief!" How does Jesus help our unbelief? Jesus gives us Himself in baptism. We have the New Heart that believes, the New Mouth that confesses, because it is the New Man in Christ that calls on the Name of the Lord, through baptism; and ALL who call on the Name of the Lord shall be saved. He gives us the Grace, Faith, and Gift that was needed, and it shall not be taken away. It is by Jesus you are saved, through Jesus, and not of yourself, but by Jesus, because Jesus is the Gift of God, lest anyone could boast.

There is one old theory: God originally created the Angels, in all their various orders and degrees (Ophanim, Seraphim, Cherubim, etc). They were (and still are) immortal and have free will. Lucifer rebelled, taking one third of the Host with him. God expelled him, but Lucifer protested: arguing that God was only more powerful, not morally superior. To prove His justice, and replace the one third who had rebelled, God chose to make Mankind. Immortality for Mankind was not assured: he first needed to prove his loyalty. Lucifer was accorded the freedom to tempt Mankind as severely as he wished. Most of those angels who fell with him are bound to the air of this Earth; still loyal to their Master, Lucifer. (The whole Garden of Eden section here... we can take that 'as read') Consequence, all humans ever born will die. Worse, all humans ever born will be prone to yield to Evil. Our flesh and blood, once pure and good, is now genetically depraved. Some angels who were appointed to oversee and protect Mankind, the Watchers, left that task and instead chose to breed with Human women. These angels sought to overthrow/thwart God's plan for Mankind and seize the Earth for themselves. Their criminal treachery saw them condemned to the lowest chambers of Hell - 'Torments' in the Greek language. Thereafter, the Flood, to cleanse Humanity of the hybrid Angel-Humans (the Nephilim). Only those on the Ark were pure bloodline remaining humans. Meanwhile, Mankind's continuing depraved state after the Fall, necessitated God's intervention as Jesus Christ to pay the bloodprice for every fallen human. Those humans who accept Christ's sacrifice, and effectively ''sign on'' to loyalty to God, will receive an immortal glorified body for eternity. In Heaven, the Saved Faithful will replace the Fallen angels.

The Body of Christ Church will replace the fallen angels. We are eternally in the Heavens. 2 Cor 5:1. Israel will still get their eternal kingdom on earth. God is reconciling both heaven and earth back to Himself through Christ (Eph 1:9-11).
