So these guys are literally admitting that Tatum is struggling to do what Jimmy has been doing most of the playoffs without his championship pedigree PG... facilitate, defend, score and rebound... but Tatum is better when he DOESN'T have to do those things?? cos Miami is the better team, still win with injuries. no excuses. Depth is key in the playoffs, proves Miami is the better team when the "injuries" equation comes into play. What team is 100% healthy in the playoffs. Nets had injuries last year and lost to the Bucks in game 7, this year what injuries caused them to get sweeped? As they say, don't put your eggs into one basket. You roll the dice and hope for the best after that. Out of the four remaining teams, Miami has the deepest roster, with GSW a very close second.

Smart is more important to Boston than Lowry to Miami. Miami has a lot of dogs, without Smart, Boston is literally leaderless. Miami can still rely on Jimmy, Tucker even without Lowry. Miami is a better team overall. Bring Lowry back healthy, guarantee Miami is only going to get better.

Miami is a much deeper team, they can withstand an injury to a guy like lowry because they have plenty of guys to step up in his absence where as boston does not when a guy or two goes down and its credit to Miami they built a much deeper team, but Boston's best punch is better than Miami's.

@@dapperdementor3332 Its not, Since the new year boston has been the best team in the NBA, all the numbers say so, they have one of the better defenses of this decade, but their real issue is the mental lapses they go through on offense. Its more about that than anything, when they're able to get their half court defense setup they strangle you defensively. Their bad decision making on offense often leads to points on the other end, not because their defense is poor, Its the main hole in this celtics team and thats almost always why they've lost games this postseason

Check my earlier comments on KZbin, this series will come down to WHO SHOOTS THE BALL BETTER/WHO SCORES THE BALL BETTER. That's it, that's all. Go look at the stats last night for the teams: Heat - FG 48.8% 80 shots total / Celtics - 45.6% 79 shots total Heat - 3P% 33.3 30 shots total / Celtics - 32.4% 34 shots total Heat - FT % 88.2 34 shots total / Celtics - 75% 32 shots total Heat had 1 more rebound Celtics 4 more assists Heat 4 more blocks Heat 2 more steals Celtics 4 more turnovers Celtics + in assists are cancelled out by their turnovers and vice versa with the Heat + in blocks/steals SHOOTING/SCORING is the key

Bruh I’m so tired of all these analysts making injury excuses for other teams. Miami core players Jimmy, Bam, Herro and Lowry gave all missed 15 plus games this year and still got #1 seed. Lowry has been out multiple games in first round, 2nd round and will for conference finals but none them bring that up. Miami is a really good team with a great coach and organization. They don’t make excuses for injuries etc. they just come to work with next man up mentally. I love this blue collar team. Go Heat! Hope they win the chip this year. 💯

I'm not a heat fan, but the fact that they mentioned Smart and Horford and not a single word from Lowry, it just disappoints me, there's no excuse for either team, Miami upped their intensity in the 3rd quarter, that's it, the Heat were the better team, I see this series to 7, but disrespecting the heat like that is unacceptable.

@@jonlegend469 But it's not like Butler has to bring the ball up the court all the time, Lowry is a floor general who can take charges on the defensive end, Smart and Horford can make an impact, but they're only making excuses for the Celtics when they lose, but if they would've won the game, they would've said something like "Heat lost to a team without Smart and Horford" but if the Heat win, it's one excuse after another.

Butler is 32 years old. Tatum is 24. Tatum gets thrown into a game with a game plan and all of a sudden he’s missing two leaders on the team in the ECF. When Miami triple teams you every time you drive to the basket in the second half what are you supposed to do… 4 of the starters last night are 25 and younger. Listen, the Celtics just played a 7 game series against Giannis and now they are playing a well rested Miami team at home without the DPOY and Al Horford. Horford isn’t the greatest player but he’s smart, hits open shots, gets rebounds, passes the ball and doesn’t turn the ball over. The Heat couldn’t have lost that game. Celtics had no chance with the circumstances. You can’t argue with my argument because it’s the truth and there is no if’s ands buts about it.
