have been a Broncos fan for 45+ years, since i was a young teen growing up in Colorado. Pat Bowlen was the best owner in professional sports. he will be truly, truly missed in Denver and for all Broncos fans. my condolences to the Bowlen family, the Broncos organization and all players who knew him. we mourn in Colorado today.

I know whats it like to lose an owner who cared about his organization and players...we experienced it when Al Davis passed away back in 2011. My favorite stories about Bowlen are from year after year how he'd come into the players locker room before the college season started and make bets with Bronco players about college football games...who wouldn't LOVE playing for an owner that acted this way? That treated his players as equals? One of a kind. RIP PAT BOWLEN.
