Sadly, Pat just passed away, today April 6. No details yet as he has been ill for some time. I'll miss him and will always treasure the 3 years I spent as his mechanic in Europe. Frans

Just hearing the sad news too, here in the UK, on April 7th. I remember seeing Pat racing at Mallory Park back in the day, just a few miles down the road from Hinckley, where I lived. He suffered his career ending crash at the TT not long afterwards.

In time, he might let me take it for a few laps, knowing that I have raced TZ250's and TZ750's in the past. If he does I will for sure have my helmet cam on and audio commentary while I am riding.
