Pat Lake near Kamloops BC.

We drive to Pat Lake from Kamloops, BC. Pat lake is one of the first good fly fishing lakes in the Kamloops area to become ice free every spring. This is the first week of April. Pat Lake is very close to Morgan Lake. Fish in the 3 to 4 lb range can be caught here.

Kamloops lake is fed by the Thompson river which is a combination of the north and south Thompson rivers that meet in Kamloops. The Thompson river then flows west and south to the Frazer River

My relatives have some property with cabin. To get to it need 4 wheel drive and exit somewhere along Fraser Canyon highway. It is on ranchland they have their cabin. Taylor' own the cabin. I take that route to Cache Creek and turn left towards Mainland.

Oh cool, ya there are a number of really old ranches along the Fraser. The biggest and one of the oldest being the Gang Ranch. Thanks for watching Nancy!
