Why is this such a foreign concept to you people? Pat isn’t a jets fan, why tf would he care how they do? Why would he feel the need to go scorched earth on a team he has 0 relation to and doesn’t care about? He’s a Colts fan. What a dumb post

@randallwyant72382 күн бұрын
@notthatguy4062 his whole vibe is that he cares about the nfl and football, but he suddenly doesn't care about his boy tapping out. The guy he has on his show every week. That's convenient and understandably so, but confusing as I thought his show was nation wide covering topics around the league, and not just a Colts beat podcast. So dumb of me
@notthatguy40622 күн бұрын
@@randallwyant7238 I really don’t get your point. He’s not a fan of the Jets. So he’s not going to go on a tirade over a team that he’s not a fan of. Just like you or I wouldn’t go off on a team that we don’t care about. He’s a fan of the colts, played for the Colts, spent his entire adult life with the Colts, lives in Indiana still…that’s his team. Not sure where the disconnect is
@randallwyant72382 күн бұрын
@notthatguy4062 i mean, I just don't think it's a good faith argument to say he only goes on tirades about teams he's played for/on. Like he doesn't rant about other stuff around the league or in different sports, etc. Or he doesn't have the time or energy for it? For example, he's a WVU guy no doubt, right? Has he ever gone on rants about other programs? I think what you're really getting at, is that he doesn't care actually about A Richardson tapping out, but more so the Colts being bad, and is willing to ignore the hypocrisy of criticizing someone for one thing and then having blinders when it comes to the guy who's on the show, every week. Which is why I just wish he had the same energy for the guy he can actually talk to and sees on a regular basis.

NFL offenses are so complex now, we need to give these young qb’s time. It looks like the best thing to do is to let them sit for 2-3 years anymore behind a valuable veteran.

@tylerwilson8615 yeah, but no team is going to do some crazy stuff like that and have 2 hall of fame quarterbacks for over 10 years each, that's just crazy talk... oh my bad, and have another possible great QB playing now. That sound silly bro, where do you get this silly thought process?? 😂😂😂😂😂 Now bring on the comments from the people that don't get the sarcasm. And go Texans... now I know I'm gonna get roasted 😂
@tylerwilson86152 күн бұрын
@@shootermike65 I understand but look at some of these qb situations. They come from easy playbooks with next to zero terminology and then come to the NFL where every single play has multiple adjustments at every receiver eligible position according to that play (including linemen and fullbacks) and you have 200 plays. That’s baptism by fire for some of these guys. Look at Darnold now. Look at Kurt Warner late in his career. Look at how Peyton Manning started his career. You can overwhelm a young qb and possibly kill their confidence. I say find a guy like Joe Flacco or a Sam Darnold, Teddy Bridgewater, or a Geno Smith. Guys that are really well prepared, super smart and true pros but are border line guys that you aren’t sure are worth paying $40-$50 million a year to. Draft a guy that’s supremely talented but willing to learn (that’s a big one) and let him watch. Once it’s Brucie’s time to shine, give him the rock and let him sling it.

All of this is fine and well but when you realize that in about 24 hours he's gonna let QAaron come on air passing the buck way better than he has all season... EHHHHH. Kinda sorta falls flat in the grand scheme. A clear double standard exists if the Colts are held to a higher standard than QAaron who has seen this whole operation fall apart to such a degree that their stud WR is basically not sounding like he's a happy camper which we more than expected and would've understood a year ago. But now with QAaron under center...nah man. This is not good.

You are just a punter bro. What did you really contribute to winning? You didn’t even win a Super Bowl
@davidwaxter662 күн бұрын
Most if not all teams punt every game. So I’d say punting helps the team win when you are a good punter. Dude played from 2009-2016. 4 afc south division winners. 5 playoff births in 8 seasons. 2 of which were an afc championship loss the other a Super Bowl loss. Seems like he’s been on teams that know how to win games and have chances to win a Super Bowl. Since pat retired, the colts have not won their division since. Only made the playoffs 2 times in 8 years which they have played 3 games and only won 1. Yea Pat can be annoying and say stuff to get people talking but to talk crap about his career as a punter when he clearly has seen more success than the current teams so I think he knows more about winning than the current team or you

@@JayAllenification they did win the division multiple times and made it to the superbowl. Franklin and Speed have been on a bottom 5 defense since theyve been here and never won the divison. So "just a punter" has seen more post season plays than the entire colts team now 🤷♂️
