This Superbowl win by Tom is by far the most impressive of all. He won every game up to the Superbowl on the ROAD against Breeze, Rodgers then Mahomes!! Not to mention it's his first year with a new team, new players, new coaching staff.. no real off-season to speak of.. basically learning everything on the fly.. this win by Tom and the Bucs absolutely should NOT have happened with everything I listed above! Not that he needed it to be considered the GOAT.. but this run to the Superbowl solidifies his place as the GOAT. True football fans can appreciate what Tom and the Bucs just pulled off..the historical significance is astronomical! I can tell my grandkids what I have witnessed. We are truly blessed this day and age being able to witness the likes of Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Rodger Federer and the greatest champ of the all...Tom Brady!! Just WOW!!

You know, Tampa Bay had an all outdoor training facility up until the early 2000s. Nothing but the lockers and the showers was inside. Even the weight lifting equipment, which was mostly freeweights, was outside under a canopy and was notoriously rusty. One of the last NFL teams to upgrade their training facilities while most had done so by the early 90s. The facility was located right next to the main runway of Tampa Int. airport. Coaches and players complained to the owners for years about the sad conditions of their training facilities. Coach Jon Gruden sarcastically referred to the facility as "The Woodshed", and some of the coaches' offices were actually converted broom closets. It was not until ownership of the team changed hands in the late 90s that things began to change but it still took time before a new state-of-the-art training facility with a full size practice field was built for the team in 2006.

Brady's biggest strength is his mind, which isn't as affected by age. Mahomes is athletic beast, however the body doesn't hold up as well. He'll never get half way to Brady's achievements. That's not throwing mud at Mahomes, just highlighting how truly special Brady is.
