I’m truly impressed with the monologue. Here’s the context, he didn’t have a writer due to the strike. So everything Pat said he genuinely meant (instead of a script telling him to praise A, B, and C). Yeah, he has years of experience with his podcast, but it’s a huge difference chilling with the boys, and doing a standup bit.

I can't believe ESPN posted this. Its fun to watch those in the audience genuinely smile because of the speaker at these kind of things. Sports are such a huge part in most of their viewers eyes.
