Lisa Eldridge is literally my role model. She’s everything I want to be. Poised, elegant and genuine with an amazingly creative mind. One of the first persons I followed on KZbin years ago and I still watch every single video she makes. Truly happy that her product live up to what we expect from her. Both lipsticks looks amazing but I might (definitely have) have a slight bias to Lisa so I’d say she’s the winner.

LE lipsticks have a little bit different formula based on colour imo. The Fawn is the 'worst' (but still totally gorgeous!), dryest formula. Myth or affair sit better on lips. And reds are the best lipsticks I ever tried! 😍

Lisa is masterful with colours. The colours she came up with are so nuanced and unique. In your head, you could tell "hey, its another pinky browny nude" or "dude, its a classic blue toned red", which we all have in our collection, but when put in comparison to other lipsticks, its always a bit different. I have both brands of lipsticks. I find the PM very drying on my 56 year old lips. The LE not drying at all. I do have to say, most lipsticks dry my lips out. So, Lisa E matte lipsticks not drying my lips out is a wonderful find. Really wonderful. (Really expensive with shipping on top, but sooo wonderful).

I have red matte lipsticks from both. Pigment is very similar, longevity also but the formula seems to make a difference for me. Path's lipstick formula is thinner and feels lighter when on the lips and Lisa's is richer, and more creamy-because of that Lisa's lipstick feels more moisturising and Path's more drying. Lisa's formula has smoothing effect whether Path's goes into dry patches and lines. Also after wearing Lisa's lipstick all day my lips don't look parched like after All day of Path's.

I am a HUGE fan of Lisa’s formula. Velvet fawn is my perfect nude. I’m very olive/yellow and very pale, and it makes my skin look so healthy and creamy instead of dead. I bought two back ups for her October drop, and velvet affair as a slightly darker, more intense version. I only buy her lipsticks anymore because nothing else is quite as good

This is exactly what I wanted! Ugh that LE shade is so beautiful, I wanna cry. You're right the Pat McGrath is a little grainy but smooth at the same time. I can tell I'll absolutely love the LE bullet because holy shit Batman, the pigment. But here's the problem since the advent of liquid matte formulas my expectations for lip colours lasting, not budging etc has changed massively and bullets sadly just don't cut it. There is a lot of FOMO with Lisa E lipsticks because releases are limited. I appreciate the comparison. I've only tried McGrath's MatteTrance so far. And sad to say, I had an adverse reaction to it. Caused the corners of my lips to crack. This has only happened with another lipstick in the past. A Chantecaille one. Funny how it's only the very expensive ones? I'm about to try a Shiseido Modem Matte lipstick, but am very looking forward to sampling the Eldridge ones. And she's lovely to boot.

Love your Lisa Eldridge video and the comparison. Have you tried sheering down velvet dragon? It’s such a unique shade and I’m really loving it as a “stain”. I do a light coat with finger smudge, some nice greasy lip treatment and top up from there. Much easier to wear when you’re green and your teeth aren’t blue white.

I have the some of Lisa's lipsticks and I also own one UOMA Beauty matte lipstick (badass I believe?). To me, te bullets and the formula seemed very similar... therefore I decided to compare the formulae of the two and they are pretty much the same, with the exception that the UOMA one has Mica in it.

Also I've started applying Christy (and all my other Pat mattes (Guinevere - NOT a nude - is probably my favorite) with a lip brush and it gets rid of that mousse slip a lot faster (Lisa style of application), which has been my one complaint apart from the pinkiness of the tone. But I have truly neutral skin so I can wear a lot of reds, but when it comes to nudes, I'm a lot pickier. But I feel like I have 5 now that I love.

Hi!! I own both and those exact same shades. The difference I´ve felt using a mask with each one, and talking quite a lot because I´m a teacher, Pat´s dries faster and in a cracking mode, at least on me. Lisa´s stayed much more hydrated and just the way I applied it, it basically didn´t change at all, while Pat´s dried and some patches desappeared. Hope that helps :D
