I have listened to, and played guitar for years, I have never heard a better combination of skill, musical feel and the ability to compose that I hear with Pat Metheny

+James McKellar I second that opinion.

This is simply like the music from the my place in this world, Minas GErais, in Brasil (Brazil). Metheny is our bro.

"the life is so beautiful" that is the best message Pat Metheny sent to all

I so love this song! I so LOVE this song! I just recently discovered it, but right now, its my favorite of all of Metheny's compositions. The intro was on point, as well.

My jaw dropped when I heard and saw Lyle doing some sweet comping.... on guitar!!! He must have had a few spare minutes one day :)

+Bryan Alfonso That was one of my favorite songs. I love it. I think Richard sung that in Douala. And Antonio Sanchez has replaced departing member Paul Wertico. Cuong Vu is Vietnamese.

+Tiffany Douglas I actually enjoy that it is in a foreign language. It can mean whatever my imagination wants it to mean. Who knows? I might be disappointed if I learned the translation....I doubt it though....:)

+Tiffany Douglas Cuong Vu was born in Vietnam but he is an American. He came to the USA when he was five.

I can't believe how good Pat and the group are ! I never get tired of watching or listening to them.

I hear parallels of "Third Wind" here. "On Her Way" to me represents The Group at some of it's highest and most heart felts moments. Brilliant and beautiful. Also a great newer band lineup.

A smooth-as-velvet-transition when pat takes over from bona. seems like a precious porcelain vase is handed over to the master and the rest of the band and they know exactly how to handle it.

The force of my rejoice when she gets here will be as great as the song now playing. About PMG. Only the great played. Even if they shined greater than Pat in some ways. This fact has kept PMG great for over 40 years. Still playing that high level unmatched frequency.

It probably comes from Metheny's experience playing with the likes of Milton Nascimento. I could swear that also I heard Metheny playing on a cut from Dori Caymmi's Kicking Cans LP!
