Another great performance and what a good idea to play this on a Western acoustic instead of the Selmer. The clear and crisp sound suits this melodious and even a bit melancholic song so much better i think. When i listen to your great interpretation, it seems the clock on the wall is ticking a bit slower than usual....

Ich bin seit 40 Jahren ein Fan von Pat Metheny. Ich denke, dass ihm dieses Cover eines seiner vielen wunderbaren Songs gefallen würde. Ich kann mir keinen besseren Künstler und keine bessere Gruppe vorstellen, um es zu covern, als Joscho Stephan und sein Trio.

Joscho's playing is superb. Out of all the melodically gifted gypsy guitarist. He has that next level of musicality,delft touch and sophistication. Up their with Jimmy Rosenberg but for totally different reasons. Love both to get together to give as a collaborative effort recording.

Excellent musicians, well played, but the only thing I find missing is the shuffle feeling. Each beat must be felt in tripplets to get that blusey/soul-like pulse.

Funny manner of shaking hands, instead of showing off, it's better to carefully harmonize this composition and not skip the improvisation of the second part of the piece. In the first one, minor modulation is also omitted. For me it's a parody.
