Yes - I recall these two - there were a couple of ex-judo wrestlers who wore judo gear in the ring. De Montfort Hall, Leicester - know it well. Dave Reece was another referee who used to turn a blind eye to foul moves but was, otherwise, very good. He didn't have too much to worry about here. He was also a small promoter in the Shrewsbury area where he came from. Apparently he died in July 2018. Superb equaliser to Bennett, who was the brother of marvellous Mike Bennett.
