@@sydguitar99 Who's comparing him to Steph lol. Curry is arguably the best point guard ever. Butler is a proven winner. He's taken a very subpar team to the finals twice. He also snapped the wolves playoff drought the one year he was with the team. The one year he was with the 76ers was the year they went the furthest too in the playoffs. He's a player that elevates his game in the playoffs and when it matters most. He's also a dawg with a winners mentality and doesn't let his teammates slack off.

Miami needs to come to reality and rebuild. Jimmy brought them to 2 finals, send him where he wants to go. Miami was one of the teams Beal wanted to go to because he’s best friends with Bam. PHX is realistic for Jimmy and it’s a great fit

I actually want to see Jimmy play with Herros leap this year being very consistent and having still some great roll players like Jacquez Duncan also if bam cleans up the misses at the rim the Heat could once again come from the ashes and get on fire I think they should get a point guard (Malcom Brogdan , Payton Pritchard, Marcus Smart )

As a heat fan, I’m disappointed in Riley. You have to maximize your window. We were one All-Star away to pair with Jimmy and Bam. Kyrie, Beal, KD, Dame, etc Now when the star player respectfully ask to be traded, you wanna put your foot down, smh. I hate when Gms and owners do that

Jimmy never asked to be traded those rumors were if Miami got a good deal from trading him, but the main option was always for Jimmy to finish his contract

As a defender of the Miami Heat. Beal - Doesn't have a winning mentality he just wants his money and hoop. Kyrie - Politics KD - Only wants to play with friends Dame - Older dame on a huge contract + GM didn't respect Dames Trade Request (The NBA should really put a rule in for this) It's the NBA's fault for making hard asf to keep drafted and developed talent that leave to a bigger market once they get motion. The NBA wants parity but doesn't want to help Good Organizations like the Miami Heat & Spurs.

The trade value for Jimmy is an all time low. No one is gonna offer Jimmy the max cuz he’s old, playing the worst he has in his career, and can’t stay healthy. Jimmy is gonna except his option because no one will pay him what he wants. The best u can get is Bradley Beal so I don’t see a point in trading him now

Jimmy won't opt out to his contract(player option next season), I don't think anyone will offer him the max, the best option for both Heat and Bulter is playing this year and negotiate a sign-and trade next year. So I like what Riley said, kind of old school

Teams need to stop trading for old stars. It doesn’t work. I’m a suns fan and us trading for old Durant was dumb. I remember people saying that the suns fleeced the nets too and even at the time I was like “ yall are crazy, you don’t win with old stars”. If somebody had traded for butler, that team would have lost the trade

I think the heat are trying let him go for cap space to reset. I don’t think anyone the heat would get back would be beneficial financially/ cap space wise

The heat don’t want Bradley Beal. They said no last year. And herro is better and younger at this point. I can see a 3 team trade getting butler to GS or PHX.
