@@Abitflippant Pat really labors over every single word, literally, I followed his blog for the four years between name of the wind and wise mans fear and he would write about his struggles trying to make a word/sentence/paragraph/narrative sound right to him. The time he spends to make every word important, not just filler, but part of a bigger canvas that is this beautifully complex use of written word and storytelling to create books that are not only interesting to read in plot, but also fulfilling and enjoyable in structure and prose is definitely worth waiting for. (Here's hoping he doesn't spend 17 years working on book 3 like he did on book 1 however.)

It's just as important to note that Viari's character sheet at this time is a Swashbuckler Rogue who has Expertise or Advantage and a minimum roll of 10 in nearly every skill he applies this bullshit to. So Perkins is more often than not just acknowledging that he's mathematically likely to flawlessly manage most of this stuff even if he does roll.

Good video and an amazing idea. One observation though: your audio is all over the place. At times, the volume is so low you have to crank headset volume and at other times it's so loud it sounds like over-volume on a 1983 JVC TV hooked up to a VCR where it's just straight noise. Consider adjusting and mastering the audio next time, and that would have made this video perfect
