It’s nice to hear that Pat Sloan was a beginner lol . I haven’t been quilting long but recently took out a quilt I was working on last year and had to take most of the 61/2 inch blocks and reset a 1/4 seam it’s not perfect but it’s a quilt top not yet a quilt progress. I have to say you inspired me with the 10 min challenge. Thanks

Love it. I am working on a very old ufo. And my skills were not very good at at all. I have 6 blocks that 12 1/2 and 6 that are sort of 12". Been picking apart the odd sizes and resewing. Have gotten 3 done. But I am wishing I had done some creative sashing. LOL. I'm hope to have the balance resewn tomorrow so I can start assembling. This is my challenge for the week.

Pat, I really like your DJ quilt. Even w/o sashing. I'm not a real fan of sashing anyway. This is much more interesting w/o it. The borders are perfect. The colors and contrasts are great. Everything works together so well. No wonder you are doing a happy dance! :-)
