Love Dear Jane and have been working on this since I first saw it at Houston Quilt Festival years ago. My skill toolbox had to develop over time as I had no group. BEST purchase for this is EQ and the digital SLIDE image from the museum. The digital image will amaze you!! The blocks and sashing varies as the applique does. Give yourself a gift and get the digital image. You can look at it block by block enlarged. Comparison is the thief of joy. Dear Jane is not perfect, thank goodness. Happy stitching.

I have the original DJ software. It’ll be interesting to see if it loads. My Baby Jane is about 1/3 or so complete and I have the book - somewhere. You’ve inspired me to begin again. Thank you. New subbie

I've also had the book and templates for eons and have EQ8 but not the add on. I look forward to following this for encouragement to consider trying it. I might jump in if I could make a decision on what fabric I'd like to do it in.

I have copies of the book, acrylic templates, and lots of fabric to do this project, along with other quilt kits from Tula Pink, etc.

Started it a long time ago. I have the disc with the book. No EQ. Think it is time to QAL & finish it.

Can you use the Dear Jane add on independent of the EQ software?

No, you need to have the EQ8 software, then the Dear Jane Add-On works with the software.

I just found you-this is exciting. The EQ CD no longer works, they said I have to buy it again😮😢! (For my EQ8)

Sorry to hear it. That’s what I have also… the original EQ and DJ software. Maybe EQ will allow an upgrade. They use to do that. 🤞

Hi, i have always been wanting to do this one but didn't know how to start. I have just got Brenda's book. Is it possible to do with just the book and follow your instructions or have EQ8 also?

I don't have the book, but I would guess that following my way of doing the blocks may help guide you through the book.
