Drummer is flat out on it !.... Nice job brother. Opening for Pat Travers was a treat in the 80's....Columbus Ohio !

Right…I still have to put Tommy Aldridge at the top of the pile but this guy is not far behind. Haven’t heard any others give the tune the energy it needs.

"Heat in the Street" was one of the coolest albums from the late '70s. Great to see PT still turning it up.

I had the great Fortune seeing Pat Travers Band three times..! the man is technically smooth as hell seen him in local dive bar in East St Louis rough neighborhood. Pat rocked that place out so heavy then broke a string right in the middle of a song and stopped immediately he said he'd be back in a few minutes he went off stage and we're all sitting there wondering what's up??? he comes back he's got his guitar string on and starts exactly the spot that he broke the string and blew us all away 😎one of the very very best

Absolutely my favorite song 🎶 by PT. I’am going to be getting a trio together very soon 🔜 and this tune is the first one I want us to learn. Long Live, PT! Rock On!!!

This stuff is so bad ass! Kirk and Pat are a helluva guitar duo!

I don't understand people underrating Kirk. Took me a while to understand how essential he was to let PT get loose and wild. I miss the bond like I miss the doublePat thang.

listening to PT was such a huge inspiration, far from the pack of 'mainstream' rock the unusual chords, the very unique songwriting put my mind in a place where songwriting for me was actually pretty easy, even though attending Berklee I had really not much idea of what I was doing! Travers needs to be inducted into Hall of Fame no doubt This guy set a standard of composition & live performance nobody could touch back then So glad I've been lucky to hear & really absorb that music, because I too, am hooked !

This has GOT to be the tightest band AND version(s) since the glory days. Sean, hats off to you brother, absolutely the chunkiest fattest pocket, most solid and fired up I've seen Pat in decades!! God I hope you are still playing with him? (sorry i'm late to the party and just discovered these clips). Cannon is right. WOW!

The verse and chorus of this song are in 13/8 - albeit with different subdivisions - but still swing. Kudos to Pat for playing and singing effortlessly over these complex meters!

Here's the thing if you watch music legends Pat leaves his hometown suitcase and guitar in hand a month after his 21st birthday in 1975 with probably very minimal money and says I don't want to be a has been here playing cover bands in dives I'm going to London on my own lands in Heathrow Airport and it's not as if he left with three or four other band mates or musicians he created all this on his own that takes a hell of a lot of guts good job Pat good job! Pat is proof no one ever gets anywhere near the top or Pinnacle of success playing it safe in life he was out there on his own and he made it happen!!

This is ok, but Pat's BEST Live band was the era in the early '90s who toured and played on the "Pat Travers - Boom Boom at the Diamond Club" VHS release. That was EASILY Pat's best live band since the Iconic Travers/Thrall/Cowling/Aldridge lineup in the 1970's!
