I saw the Pat Travers Band 40 years ago in Toronto and it remains as one of my all time favorite concerts. Go For What You Know is still one of the best live albums ever. You rock Pat!

Arguably as good as he’s ever been and that’s saying something. Travers juggles singing lead and rhythm playing like it’s nothing. Legend

Nice to see him using Marshalls again. I never cared for that Blackheart sound. First saw Pat back in the day with Tommy Aldridge, Mars Cowling, and Pat Thrall..the quintisential and my favorite line up. Have seen him numerous times since. He’s always very gracious with the meet and greets after his gigs. I have a signed guitar strap, and the rear control cavity cover on one of my guitars signed. Another time, I bought a double CD at one of his shows, the whole band signed it, then I gave it to a buddy of mine.

I had the chance to meet him coming out of a motel back in late 83 I think it was.he was opening up for Kiss under Lick It up tour. Ask him what he thought of Paul Stanley Paul was a very great performer he said Paul's rhythm playing is really not that bad at all and if he took the time to be still he could be pretty damn good but that's not Paul.

I can tell you.....first met PT in 1983, and he was playing with the fabulous Sandy Gennaro and Pat Thrall. The line came from Thrall, and it stuck. Those guys used to get so high, Pat Thrall said that to a groupie one night by mistake, when she was trying to hustle him.

First live concert notes I heard were Pat's, then the Scorpions and Sammy for the headliner in 79 at the Arena in St. Louis, I was 13 and me and a buddy snuck down to 14th row because 2 girls from school "invited" us, we didn't get caught LOL.
