The side pocket is giant security risk given that it gives you complete access to the inside of the bag. Idk why the heck the geniuses didn't make the side pocket double zippered so you can lock it.

patagonia black hole bags are the best duffle bags. I have 2 - 100L, 2 - 70L, 2 - 55L, 2 - 40L. My wife and I love them. great review

Great review! Packing down into its own pocket would be useful for longer trips where you might return with more than you left with.
