It was a 6 weight rod he only mentioned it once I almost didn't catch it myself

For the lake fishing we mostly used six weight fast action rods in a nine foot length. Given the wind conditions, the next time I go (this January) definitely bringing both a nine foot and ten foot six weight for casting. Definitely go see you cousin, incredible land, fishery and people!

Foam flies,no doubting their effectiveness but questionable aesthetics on such grand gamefish, at least to me.
