I'm an avid hiker, I spend multiple months a year hiking, being outside and surrounded in wilderness. It's absolutely one of my biggest passions and anyone who is passionate about the outdoors understands this and applauds this company. I have previously NEVER bought Patagonia as my previous impression of them wasn't very positive, but after this annoucement I am absolutely willing to buy into their brand.

I watched this interview live on CNBC yesterday morning. Joe Kernan asks the question of the year but evidently it was edited out here. He asked the CEO if the founder has given any thought or opinion as to when given all of the billions if not trillions of dollars that has been entrusted to environmental causes if in fact he had any thoughts or ideas as to when the world could expect to see any kind of noticeable difference in the climate that would result as a positive event for mankind.....?? The man appeared noticeably taken aback and quite upset, looked smugly at Joe and said to the effect, That is an absurdly ridiculous question and I'm gonna side step it.
