To be successful in one's endeavour Concentration / Focus plays a vital role. In what way Dharana as a yogic practice different from Concentration as applied in Worldly life?

concentration is dharana the word is that which u hold ur mind onto, u have to keep practising to hold onto something, 1st make a definite point for concentration, like the image of the deity , u should have that murti in ur mind and hold on to that action of having it in mind, this is dhyana, when u do this so much that it doesnt feel indifferent at a point that ur whole self is immersed in the thing u r doing dhyana of, its samadhi. one way to do this is chant a mantra by imagining the mantra murti, and keep coming back to doing the same when u r distracted, the benefits are well u can experience once u do

Wonder why the first 3 sutras in Vibhuti Pada were not included in Sadana Pada as these three are the last 3 limbs of Astanga Yoga & part of Sadhana, though Antaranga.

So is it that one starts with Dharana and ends up in Dhyana in one sitting? It is not to be done on its own?
