Also if you want to try a fun little meme game where you have to helplessly live with consequences of your bad decisions Mechabellum is a great strategic autobattler. Highly recommended for sore hand days.

Mechabellum is pretty fun. I only play vs. AI, but it's got both nice visuals, quickly resolved battles, and surprisingly deep gameplay.

I've been watching Turin since he had 10k subs... hundreds and hundreds of hours into warhammer 1 and 2. But i don't know if I'm just getting older or what. But Warhammer 3 I just can't get into it. I always listen to Turins tournaments because his community and commentary is pure gold... but i think Warhammer has been put out to pasture for me, which is sad. Just waiting for age of warhammer rts play style.

Grail Knights had an extremely unfavourable engagement against some of the most expensive cavalry in the game (Entourage) and still knocked them down to 40% or so health. So strong!

Around 30 minutes in you mentioned how you weren't sure about how worth it tutorial videos about army picking for Total Warhammer 3 and how you weren't sure how useful they would be. I understand that they would be tricky and time consuming(especially if it's videos all done by you), but I can say that as much as you can pick things up from just watching videos there is still a barrier to entry from just being uncertain about how to start.

Yeah maybe a 5 to 10 minute intro video could be nice, just to showcase how tournies work, how you join in and so. Nothing too long, just a short explanation video.

@@tobiasL1991 I think one on the mindset of picking an army would be a great video. Probably your most useful asset is your approach and understanding of your army and your opponents.

A big problem with army building as a noob is that you have to know what the enemy faction has and does to competently make your army for your faction in different matchups, that said having a "basline what is good at what quantities for each faction" would be a god send for new players.

Another thing would be a video on "what this faction's gameplan is and what you can bring to counter it" for each faction, though I imagine that would be long winded

the general rule of thumb is more units > better units. you need a baseline size army, lots of chaff, to be competitive. you also need AP damage, mass, mobility to cover your bases. you get some flexibility on the expensive units you pick. are you bringing expensive range damage OR expensive melee guys OR expensive cav/monsters/mas. obviously just speaking in general. whatever unit you pick to carry your damage, also bring something in reserve that is good against the counterpicks the enemy will bring.

Man, I was an AVID viewer of all your TWW2 MP tourneys and replays, I watched everyone of them for like 4 years…but man, it’s just not as interesting to watch anymore without the “Big Four” of Aerocrastic, Felkon, Soothsayer, and Enticity. Not only from a talent level, they were the S-tier of WH PvP, but they were also great for the community, with the podcasts from Aeroand streams from Enticity. Feels like the MP scene lost a lot of juice when players that talented stopped playing.

Ever since the patch that added the new units to Kislev the game crashes before it even really launches. I've updated my gameready driver a few times, did a full reinstall and still the game crashes. Anyone have any ideas

All the comments about tww just being different now - i honestly think the switch to domination has more to do with it than we realize. Its the mp mode we asked for, solving all the old quirks that were hard to regulate, but it just doesnt carry the same mood that good ol fashioned land battles brought. Loose win conditions allowed for an infinite variety in army comp and tactics that you just cant use with objective-focused matches. The further out we get from "the golden age" of tww content, the more i miss land battles

I’d love to see a random faction and random army comp. I feel like we see the same meta builds every game. With randomly generated armies, it actually shows the players skill and how they adapt! Would be really fun to See
