I got excited for a moment there reading the patch notes about increase in the number of armada's a person could do at one time, then was immediately missed when I realized it was behind a prime, and not just any prime, a multi-tiered prime, thanks scopely your Ferangi is showing.

This is the type of new loop I don't mind, as it consolidates old loops. They just didn't make it to where anyone could really do them....

The concept is amazing, just like the concept of the Borg Cube was amazing. But they scopely'd all over it, just like they did with the cube. If they'd done this same thing but made it start at ops 35, where ppl first start getting into solos and the game gets ultra cluttered with loops, and then scaled it up and adjusted the costs, I think a lot more people would love this. It would legit have made this an update that was as well loved as the introduction of Ex Borg last year.

actually one armada type where i really like the rewards. but the fact that it either takes a couple hundred bucks or aprox 3000 years to grab a rare reward chest pull is kind of a downer. :D

Also... this is THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM AND ISSUE AS THE NEW G5 ARMADAS WHEN THEY LAUNCHED - absolutely naff pointless starter chests/rewards. Does no one at Socpely ever actually keep notes and review issues/problems/concerns of prior content launches to avoid them at similar/new content launches? No? Seems an obvious place to start...

1) Cloaking is still a meh mechanic. 2) It's nice for them to finally hit the faction store after they promised in October 2021 about them being in the faction stores by the "end of the current arc", which was January 2022.... so 26 months late!

I'd like them to fix formation armadas. Every time my alliance goes out and does them out of say the 4 systems with the 35s I think it is only 1 is not bugged, and sometimes that one Buggs out after a few runs as well.

I’m really not trying to be negative or be that guy, but Scoply needs to start GIVING quality of life improvements for free every now and then. Still do your primes here and there but my god, a multi-tiered armada prime for the amount of armadas THEY made into this game. Really hope that scoply doesn’t get a return from creating this armada prime. On a positive note - I was able to finally get my Sanctus cloaking refit from the faction store, saving me $400 (if I were to spend) and saving 750k in event store currency (if I was even going to get that much) and I’m pretty happy they FINALLY shortened the times on FKR armadas

Hi Rev. Arghhhh. You can just see what happens at Scopely. Someone has a great idea and then the suits get their hands on it, monetize it and screw us all over. Reminds me of Ford v Ferrari. If only we had a Shelby inside Scopley.

Everytime I see a bugfix section in the update notes, I am hoping that the iOS version is finally becoming playable. But instead I can only find things like „We added a missing character in the skill description of an officer.“

On the one hand, I'm happy the game keeps getting new things. On the other hand, I want to quote the Green Mile "I'm tired, boss." If they had a set schedule of paced out updates that limits when loops and ships get introduced. Throw on top the botched treasury this month, which neither I nor many of fleet mates were able to turn in our free ones, and this is a mixed month at best for me. The in game news is actually awesome.

You hit the nail on the head, I’ve run 1 and been in 5 xindi armardas and have just over 1m rewards,another 3 weeks and I maybe able to open a chest. What a joke. Also Rev keep your clever ideas to yourself. Run multiple armardas and scopley put a cost to it and then do an armarda event with awful rewards.

The drip is being fed slower and slower and I think that is by design. Makes good things seem further and further away. It is likely to try and encourage spending, or for most of us non-engagement, because its not worth the time investment with these new armadas currently.

When free treasury will be opened more often than rare xindi armada chest.. it is hard to get excited about the contents in it. This is not a consolidation, we will still have to run all those previous loops to source credits for the armada chests. I would rate it M for Meh.

I'm sure they will release a prime in a month or 2 that will increase rewards or directives. They keep releasing content with poor rewards and then selling fixes for it. I guess you have to pay for quality.

Was trying to figure out how to get Tripp AND a Pilum cloak all from the event store. But now I don’t have too. Had plenty of Rom creds and dropped them instantly. Now I can get Tripp as well. Makes me cringe but I HAVE to give Scopely credit for this change.

**edit** Now that I've actually watched the video and realized how STINGY the armada directive sourcing is and the costs of everything... bleargh. Scopely just loves to dangle the carrot of *this* is how *good* it could be... but we don't want to do that! We just want to inflict maximum pain and anguish on our players. You can't have nice things! This is a fantastic update... so far. In THEORY this is great. A patch actually worth the name. Looking forward to this one.

Rev can you explain why Scopely would have 2 refits for the NX01? Obviously you can have only 1 on at a time and the Columbia refit has zero relevance to the NX01. And the NX01 is not a ship to have a second of just for the second refit...

I'm in a top 10 alliance on server 44, and even though I'm lvl54 I won't be trying these armadas anytime soon, since we don't have enough 51+ players to guarantee killing them.

Guess they haven't fixed that glitch with the buffs for the Defiant and the Titan, when in a armada and the buff is cast a ship with go into the destroyed state. They need to reduce the respawn time of all armadas.

The armada event they put out today is not mathing very well. Dozens of armadas for a total of 60k in event currency on offer, or the equivalent of ten shards of an epic officer in the store. Meanwhile last months big armada event had people running that many armadas, including uncommons scoring, and those of us who committed to it ended up with enough loot to get dozens of shards of Janeway/Doc/etc.

Lol I recently had an issue where an event scored incorrectly and took way more to finish than advertised. I placed a ticket and Dopely actually said “now I know you don’t want to hear this but” and told me I need to enter tickets quicker going forward. Lol oh, and of course nothing was done to alert the community of a possible problem or give some kind of compensation. Ahhhh, quality over quantity anyone?

As a fairly fresh 52 I see no benefit to engaging with any of the content this month. So much for bothering to level up from 49 to 52 quickly as there is barely an incentive. Further, the big push on "heroic" and paid content has completely turned me off on spending other than the BP. They've played themselves IMO (Scopely).

The 3.2M cost to get a chest of the xindi armada is terrible when you are the highest player in an alliance, and only have 2 other players with g5 ships. Its tough to do the level 53 armadas with only 3 g5 ships.

Other than the Defiant, Fed ships should NOT have cloaks. Also, there is NO chance I will pay to be able to run more armadas. This should be a game thing and would encourage growth for all but of course Scopely has to turn it into a money grab so thanks for thinking of everyone!

My TDLR is earlier arc content missed revenue targets so instead of buffing the value of the prior purchased content, they instead decide to push more content (grab for $$$) out in the middle of the month. A transparent attempt by Eco and company to meet the monthly $$$ targets set by the corporate types who give NOT A CARE about the health of the game itself .

I haven't engaged in any of the new features since the Xindi were introduced. Too many grinds, too difficult to kill in a reasonable amount of time, and the rewards are meh for the amount of work involved. I'm not spending anything beyond the monthly BP, so their P2P features are not getting any money from me.

Hands down, this is the worst event store month they've ever done. I absolutely hate the Armada prime, there's no reason to have to spend $100 to launch another Armada it's dumb. Speaking of armadas, I like the new armadas they put out, but only being able to launch one Armada a month or one Armada a week if you're high enough level is borderline insulting. And let's be honest, the new ship skin is pure money grabbing at this point.
