Nice one! Ditto what @moogfooger has said r.e. "sensitive" (pitch) knobs. The 1027 outputs max 10 volts from OUTs A/B/C. It's a good idea to run that through one of the system 55 attenuators to change that range to 2 or 3 volts. That makes the knobs much less "sensitive".

Thank you for this info, I will give it a try. :) Still a lot I don't know.

Very informative presentation. Nice pacing and step by step. Perfect for troubleshooting. BTW, you can use the FM inputs on the 1004 from the 1027 to limit the range for tuning. This makes it much easier for an octave or 2 on the 1027 dails. Also an attenuator for the 921B would work too. Thanks for uploading. Cheers

You have picked a hobby with endless possibilities. I think of the 2500 modules as scientific instruments designed by genius engineers. Always new things to learn and experiment. Cheers@@DisciplinedCommotion

Got the sequencer for Christmas… have not used it, yet. I have a few days off though🎉

Wow, this is really interesting and helpful, thank you very much for producing this video. So can I use the clock out to sync with the Odyssey sequencer using the cv in, is this what you meant? I think it has a cv in. Thank you for the shout out Mondux.
@monodux9 ай бұрын
My pleasure. To connect with your Odyssey, send the cv out from one of your sequencer rows to the cv in on the Odyssey, and the gate out from the 1027 to the gate in on the Odyssey. Should do the trick!

@@monodux Cheers, for the info, I will probably be checking in with you again on this :). At the moment I have the 1027 patched so it seems to do what it should, but not exactly has you have shown here, I just blundered away at it. But at some point I am going to un-patch it all and follow this video to try and fully understand what is going on.

Thanks for your Video(s), this is (they are) helpful and interesting. BUT…. Your voice or Audio track is quite quiet! I hope that you know what LUFS are (?!?) If you don't know or don't know it, learn it!!! Then edit your audio track (e.g. with a limiter) so that “INTEGRATED” becomes around -14 LUFS (but not louder) and only then publish it on KZbin! Greetings from Switzerland Chris

Chris, thanks for watching and commenting- this is very helpful. I've actually never heard of LUFS before, so I will look into it. This has been an ongoing issue for me, and I appreciate the advice! I shoot and produce everything entirely on iPad in Lumafusion. Lumafusion can use AUV3 plugins, so I'll see if there are any I can use- I've not noticed anything on LUFS in Lumafusion itself. In any case, I'm grateful for the advice! I hope to see you again and get your feedback on future videos!

@@monodux I also thank you for your answer. If you want to make more professional videos, you (unfortunately) won't get very far with an iPad :-). I would recommend you consider a PC for the long or short term. The BEST plug-in for measuring loudness is (by far!!!) “Youlean” Loudness Meter! They have a Free and Pro version. I've been working with the Pro version from the beginning, but I know that the Free version can also do a lot! As far as I know, they also have iOS plugins. It is also important to know that for "INTERGRATED" measurement, the entire audio (from start to finish) must be run through. Many greetings, CHrisS
