You seem to know your Bloom- it’s not in the manual, but can you alter gate length by simply clicking and turning the 1-8 step knobs.

Yes! I actually did that to adjust gate lengths in my new video, I probably should have explained that (oops!). It doesn't give you the visual feedback with the lights like when you are in note mode, but it works.

@@RobotsAreRed Thank you- worth a sub that! I should perhaps explain- I have had my Bloom for about 24hrs, but cannot currently devote time to it as I am puppy sitting. Oh, the humanity…

What do you have clocking Pam’s new workout there at the start? I’m having a tough time getting qu-bit bloom to work.

I am clocking pams with 24ppqn from my Keystep. So when I hit play it just starts immediately in sync.

I like to use bloom in larger patches this way, usually driven by a sequence of root notes coming from Rene… send cv of a sequence of the roots of some chord changes from the Rene channel to Root, then with Bloom set to the same key as Rene, adjust the notes in Bloom sequence, or play with branches/paths… one odd behavior though I’ve noticed is that when I switch channels the pattern on the channel I just switched *from* becomes static, or just octaves of whatever cv it’s receiving at Root… and the channel I activate becomes animated with the sequence. Not sure why… Qu-Bit manuals leave a lot to be discovered along the way.

The CV inputs will only affect the selected channel. If you want it to affect both, you can go into "global edit mode" by holding the channel button for a few seconds. The sequence LEDs should turn white. Hope that helps!

@@RobotsAreRed Ah, actually now that you say that I think I did actually read that in the manual haha. I haven’t messed with global, but I’ll def use it. Thanks, both videos so far on this module very helpful.
