Don't worry about it mate. You're teaching people useful things and inspiring us modular artists to keep away from computers :p. Keep at it!

after all this time I ended up getting bloom, there’s an issue I’m having when I divide the time division, when I divide the sequence by 8 or even 4 the reset Lags, when I hit reset manually or send cv to it, it still lags which causes everything to be offbeat, it resets perfectly when I leave it at its normal rate or I multiplied the timing but NOT when I start to divide it. Have you came across this same issue. and I also updated the firmware and recalibrated the module and still no fix. Any help would be great Thanks

Thank you for this video, this clarified so much more for me in terms of paths related to the branches! I love exploring but it gets chaotic without fully understanding the fundamentals you outlined!

I'm so happy you are back! Your videos have really helped me an inspired me in my modular journey(they have also informed my modular purchases) The pace and way you break down a patch is super helpful to us who are trying to learn from recreation. Thanks again! And I sincerely hope this is the start of the next wave of content from you!

I really enjoy your Tutorials, Tips and Tricks Videos and your Music. It's amazing what beautiful Music you get out of a Minimalistic Setup. One thing you should consider for your Videos is to make the Audio (Music) louder. Keep up your work and please upload more Video regularly :-) Kind Regards from Switzerland!

I'm still watching the video, but before I get lost in the beautiful noises again, I want to ask where you got those dope white and blue patch cables from? I've seen them around recently, but I have no clue where to get similarly colored cables
@WhiteNoises5 жыл бұрын
PsychoCroissant they are Make Noise cables! They make packs with the white, blue, black, and grey cables.

Nice video, it helped clear up a lot of mystery for me about this module! I notice there are gate outs for each channel, do they follow the ratchet settings or simply firing once per step? Wondering if can be decoupled from their respective pitch outputs.
@WhiteNoises5 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly they follow the ratchet settings -- i.e. they output a gate whenever the note changes.

what was the oscillator module that chords was feeding?
@-hexmode-64175 жыл бұрын
Sweet! Was waiting for a deeper video on this module. Video Tip, the output volume from the modular is very low, your voice is blocking the sound. Great video still!

As a huge Sunn o))) fan and a proud modular synth owner, I must thank you for this very inspiring content! If you have any other hint (or link) about droning chords that you want to share, it would be much appreciated! Do you consider the clouds to be a must to do drone music?
@WhiteNoises5 жыл бұрын
Thank you! I don't think you have to have Clouds to make drone music, but it certainly has helped for me because it is great at immediately creating a sense of atmosphere. What I find interesting about drones is at first they seem like one solid mass, but once you spend time with them you start to uncover lots of details and mini-interactions, a whole world living beneath the surface. I'm currently having fun playing about with slightly detuned oscillators, delays, filters to create harmonics and beating patterns. Interested too in using analog hardware like valves to introduce distortion and an element of chaos. Hope that helps!

Can anyone please tell me where the sound comes out of the modular synth? I have no idea how the signal gets to the speakers
@TheHoinoel5 жыл бұрын
top right in his case you see the "uJack" which is an output module. it basically adjusts the levels and has holes where you can stick your speaker cables .)

its such a pity this goes off wildly by whole octaves, if you could restrict this, the module would be a winner. I am moving on to the SIG, and probably wouldnt buy another qubit module.

Great if you are doing 1950's b-movie computer noises, I think if I introduced this to my rack I could end up being a pipe smoker and wearing leather elbow patches on my jackets, a bit too Avant-Garde for me

i hate this talking videos so much... i heard nothing from this sequencer, only this guy talking and everything I need to know is in manual
@johnhorrobin85604 жыл бұрын
Agree it is givinng out random patterns which you have no control over. It is a jazzed up euclidian sequencer. Overhyped ''trees and branches'' is just random dressed up in a gobbledegook explanation. Reminds me of a hardware sequencer called ''Zillion'' by Future Retro. There are a couple of videos about it on KZbin. J Horrobin in the UK
