Why would i want to have basically stolen valor by wearing a uniform that doesn't belong to me, hmmm very strange, but when i am out on my bike i will wear leathers regardless if any future biker gang decides we are going to the own monopoly rights to black leather jackets, because skidding along the tarmac after your ambition outweighs your talent on the twisties hurts loads more than getting a bit of a kicking in my opinion. And i should know cos ive experienced both😂

A lad walked into a pub where some aged motorcycle riders drank. he had a nice new waistcoat with all the usual insignia like the other people in the pub. He was okay until the local bully gang showed up. They isolated him and threatened him. He rang his mum, she called the police, Within 10 mins the place was cordoned off by some bigger bullies ''the police'' Who thought it was the start of some big gang war, they got to the pub and found a bunch of over-excited middle-aged men trying to bully a lone young lad. The bullies were soon all in the back of a couple of police vans. they were told they can't go stealing anyone's jacket just because they didn't like the design. They said they would behave and not bully the younger smaller boys again and left. There is always some one bigger.

If someone is impressed then it's their problem. I would like to see a few of them smelly's try to take coats from a football hooligan gang, made of young healthy blokes. Manchester United jackets look a lot like a set of rockers. Lets see them out collecting a few of them come Saturday in Old Trafford. The fishing club don't act like this. Or the mother's helpers knitting club. Gangs act like, this not clubs. peeping over a low wall....

In the UK late 70’s-80’s a lot of bikers wore Nazi regalia, iron cross, SS runes, belt buckles even the occasional helmet. It had nothing to do with being in a club. If your Father didn’t bring the real stuff home in ‘45 you could buy the copies in most bike dealers along with the Triumph/BSA or whatever badgers.

That's got absolutely nothing to do with riding motorbikes. Some gang members use motorbikes for their transport. They are motorbike-riding gang members. When did 1%ers lay claim to the diamond ? One of my units in the Army was the 5th Mechanized Infantry based out of Fort Polk we wore a red diamond as our crest. I have been told that I can’t wear my pin on my vest after being told to replace the red diamond patch that I use to wear.

It shouldn't effect any army's patch I wouldn't of thought but as for how long as long as I remember in the bike community especially the 1% diamond but the 1%ers originate from the army so I wouldn't thought it would be an issue for use an army person to wear a diamond pin what you've been awarded

I did all that only to be told in Ohio from probably the biggest 1% club around told me my pins were also a no go

Great being an oldie, they used to be oblong and have er after the 1% = 1%er. Practically all the lads wore one, if they acted up a bit, joined in got mucky, after a few week they started sewing stuff on, have a smoke, get a badge, punch a copper / pinch a bike for spares/ you got a 1%er badge. All them little badges your mates 'awarded' them to each other. We had a lad got a 'Tramp' badge cos he was a smelly git. Then the cooperates got in, and it's all regulated now. It was fashionable here in 1970. for a year or 2 every town had a bunch. Not many bikes but loads of scruffy urchins with writing on the coats. Grand Champion, and loads of other old fella sayings... EE ba gum them was t days. Ps I don't think proper gangs care, really they will kick your head in for smoking the wrong cigar if your face don't fit, and clubs like, the womens institute knitting club or the Open Course Fishing Club. They won't care if you wear their badges, so clubs generally ain't violent. Gangs can be violent, I suppose that's a big difference. Don't believe a club with violent tendencies, they tend to be gangs in disguise.

I respect the club rules as my dad is VP for a well known MC chapter but I personally wouldn't follow club rules but this is a serious problem for non club members wearing club cuts or badges claiming to be MC or similar especially 1 percent logos. It's a no no just wear standard bike clothing and stick to Facebook group rides as your not tied down to club rules

Know and understand that in OTHER PEOPLE'S world your world does not matter and if you dislike that it is utterly effortless not to be there.
