Thanks for the tutorial. The other night I spent time patching pin hole along the area that you pointed out. After.. I chased it with a 250 LUMS light. Nothing shinned through. I should be good for a while.

For me a can of black Plastidip at Home Depot spraying in 4 layers fixed my old bellows. It worked wonders. $5

Good tips here to extend the life of my Burke & James 4x5 press camera. I recommend Lexol leather conditioner for camera leather, it really helped my Yashica D leather case become more flexible around the bendable "hinge" parts - and it did not discolor the leather after it dried, inside or out.

What's that spray stuff that is "As Seen on TV!"? The guy uses a gazillion cans to spray a whole screen door on the bottom of a small boat. I wonder if that would work...lol

Great video. You mentioned installing a new Chinese bellows. Have you installed one on a Toyo 45A? If so, did the camera close with the new bellows installed? Others have said it does not due to the bellows being too thick.

I've installed Chinese bellows on dozens of Toyo 45A and 45A II cameras, a couple as recently as last week. Sometimes it will be hard to close the camera when they are first installed but they get much better with use as they compress and aren't so stiff

Hi I just got an old 4x5 camera from the 1910's it's missing the ground glass. Would that ground glass also be 4x5? I'm looking to replace it. Thanks
