Back in the day, when Chivalry was the thing to do or be, the gifting of Chocolate and Rose was extremely touching to a lady. The scent profile of this list is the combination of both. I think Rose and Patchouli and also Rose and Oud is a dynamic duo. The sum of each is greater when paired together. Coromandel is one of my most favorite. For the oud side, Oud Ispahan is fantastic also.

Just to add a nice one in this vein: Psychedelique by Jovoy. It’s a bit more patchouli and less rose but it’s a head turner. And my favorite of the rose and patchouli scents: Gris Dior. This one gets overlooked but I think it hits amazingly well on a man.
