You have definitely been missed my friend. But not forgotten. I checked to see if you were back every day or so. So, is with joy that I welcome you back. What a lovely site to see all your squares out there on the bed. Take it from an old quilter, who loves to make quilts. You can drive yourself crazy trying to get them all to look just right. I have a design wall, and would arrange and rearrange , my patches until I was nearly out of my mind with indecision. I think you would enjoy hand quilting. Some places sell quilts that are all done except for the quilting. You can buy them and do your own quilting. Hand quilting is so much fun. It’s very relaxing, once you get the hang of that rocking motion. My mother suffered with depression, nearly all of her life, so I understand what you were going through. Is that, I occasionally get depressed myself. However, I can no longer take any kind of antidepressant, because they make me hallucinate. Looking forward to seeing you more often. I know it’s hard to do anything when you are not feeling good, but I think making the effort to come on and say hi, and show us what you’re doing will be a help. We are all here just waiting for you. Got to get up and busy, my sister is coming for a visit and I need to get ready for her. Almost 81. I don’t move as fast as I used to. Oh well, the truth is, I have never been a fast mover. Ha ha. Last year I made 2 twin size patchwork square blankets from cotton kitchen yarn. I whip stitched the squares together with a yarn needle. I used a variegated blue around all the squares & on the border. They are heavy, but so nice to sleep under. That's why I glommed onto your channel when I came across it. I thought hey somebody else likes variegated squares like me. But wow yours is next level. I love all the variety of colorways. Just gorgeous!

I would add the extra on it also, I would put the squares in a trash bag and fill it then shake it up or throw in air couple of times to mix them up then lay them out

I was so glad to see a video from you today! I could watch your squares on your bed all day. Beautiful! What wonderful squares you have. That was a big job placing them all on your bed. I am so glad you showed us how to make a scrap square blanket out of variegated yarn. It does look like a material patchwork quilt. I am so glad to see this video I miss you when you don't have your videos on and I kept myself watching your videos on your blankets over and over and over again. I don't have near enough squares to do that with yet but I will and it seems like when I go to the thrift stores or if I'm out somewhere I kept myself looking and if I see varigated guard, I just picked it up automatically. Oh my goodness, it is so good to see you. I have been checking to see if you were there and was pleasantly surprised to find your video. I was getting worried about you. Your squares are so beautiful, and it was so much fun to see them all laid out on the bed. You’re going to have a wonderful blanket when you are done. Although I am not making this particular blanket, I have been working on lots of granny squares for a couple of blankets that will be gifts. Grannies are my favorite thing to do. Depression is a real thing. My mother suffered with it most of her life, so I know the struggles that you have been going through, and wish there were something I could do to help. To be suffering from depression, and then have several household items , either break or stop working must be awful. And it does seem that appliances all seem to break at the same time. I was really sorry to hear about these problem I think that you would really enjoy hand quilting. It is so relaxing, and so rewarding. Handpiece can also be a good thing to do. But I have to say that hand quilting is very satisfying. You can sometimes find old quilts in thrift shops that have not been quilted . I am using the speaker function on my iPad, so I hope there are not too many typos, or weird words. I wanted you to know that I am seriously thinking of bringing a kitten into my home. My heart still aches for the fur babies that I have just lost , but I know that it will be good for me to have something to care for again. I miss Spencer and.finny so much. They were my little family. Sometimes I think I feel them next to me. I especially miss them when it is time to go to bed, and I am all alone. I will be emailing you, and sending you pictures of some of the grannies. I have been working on. I seem to be having trouble settling down to one project. That way nothing really gets done, so I need to settle down and work on one thing until it is all done. I think of you often, and I am so sorry that you have been going through a bad time. Just know that you are always in my thoughts and prayers. Heading for bed, and hoping for a decent night sleep. That doesn’t happen very often, but there’s always hope right? Sandy from Cincinnati

I want you to read Lynsay Sands Single White Vampire, when I was depressed someone told me to read it... it helped me so much A patient of mine wasn't thriving due to her husband's passing, it was rereading it and I gave it to her told her she needed to laugh. She came back and told everyone I saved her life... She went to the bookstore and bought every Vampire book in the store by Lynsay and ordered the ones that weren't in the store. I even got my husband hooked on Lynsay, lol Feel better and take care of you. Love the squares.

My nephew is going through a really rough time for about 4 months and still going through he's now in therapy with a Dr where he talks to everyday, he has alot going on and he and his brother are nit really talking and he gave up eating until he passed out and ended in hospital
