Not easy. But for me, it is the vc1921 because: - creative design and origin story - wears like a traditional dress watch - matte strap - I prefer this tone of gold. I hope that helps 😂

Probably my favourite Calatrava at the moment. But I question PP’s finishing at this price level. From the thumbnail (on my phone) I thought you were comparing the 1921, to their discontinued Traditionnelle Patrimony in 38mm. Which is IMHO a nicer watch than the PP and more elegant than the current VC offering.

Which finishing on the pp are you referring to? I think if it was smaller around 37mm, it would be perfect. The patrimony is beautiful

@@hand.wound.horologyThe movement. PP has been using more and more machine finishing since 2007. eg The current 324 wouldn’t meet the bar for Geneva Seal, such is the level of corner cutting.

Yes i own both. You should definitely do it. The 1921 has easily become my favourite piece. It's the only untouchable in the collection that I will take to the grave with me 😆
