Thank you for this. I just diagnosed with a PFO by a bubble test during my echo on Friday and a couple other findings. It runs bad in my family along with A LOT of heart issues. I had the echo to begin with because I have clubbing of my fingers (that I've been trying to figure out since feb-march) and raynaud's also and a long list of health issues and I'm only 31.. 😑😔 Won't hear from my doc about what our plan is until Tuesday because of the 4th. So thank you again for this detailed video

Any updates on the plan? Did you get scheduled for surgery and do you know the size of your PFO? I just had a bubble study done too that showed shunting, thanks!

@@hazyhai5147 I currently have an appointment October 4th to have a test done call the TEE test. Wants to take a better look at my heart and he wants to see if the hole is big and if the hole is big in my heart he's going to have to schedule surgery to close it. I still have clubbing in my fingers going on and haven't gotten definite answers about that. Some of the doctors I've seen so far think that it could be a combination of the PFO the bronchiectasis and the Raynaud's phenomenon going on. I have seen rheumatology lung nodule doctor the heart doctor and my regular doctor about this situation. They don't want to say for sure what's causing the clubbing until they further investigate to make sure something else serious isn't causing it. The TEE test is a Transesophageal echocardiogram to take a better look at the heart. If you have any questions on the bronchiectasis or the clubbing or anything else that I've mentioned just Google it. Half the stuff that I've been diagnosed with I've had no idea what everything is and I've had to Google the hell out of everything that's when I came across this video.

@@breezie420 Thankyou for the reply! I’m currently going through the same thing. Did the doctor tell you if the hole is too big you need open heart surgery to close it? I hope you find some answers soon!

@@hazyhai5147 won't find out how big the hole is in my heart until the 4th when I have the TEE test done. If it's too big I will have to have surgery. It's nice to know that someone else is going through the same thing....not like nice to know but someone I can talk to that understands what I'm going through if that makes sense

@@breezie420 fingers crossed you’ll just need the cardiac catheterization done and not ohs! I’m so sorry you’re going through this but glad to be able to relate to someone(: I’m still waiting to hear back from my cardiologist on the next steps but hopefully I’ll soon find out more, good luck!
