Hospitals should make it mandatory. That way no one can complain, fuss, no hurt feelings, because it's a requirement, with the only opt out being if BOTH the mother AND potential father refuse. Some military hospitals actually do this. My oldest and youngest children were born on a military installation, and the hospital offered the test before I was asked to sign the birth certificates.

The low standards start with the family. Her father not being there and her mother thinking a man that won't even claim her daughter is a "wonderful" man demonstrates the low standards instilled in her...Smdh. Grandma wanted the guy who doesn't want to be the father nor wants her daughter instead of the one who does want to get with her daughter and to be a family, claimed her even though it was only 2 weeks they were together, and said from jump he believed he was the father and was excited about the baby...How backwards. Good thing he turned out to be the father. He's better looking too lol.
