That last case was tough. He was rubbing it in her face that she had gotten in trouble when it was his fault she grew up in such difficult circumstances. If no kids or partners are named as beneficiaries, nothing would go to any. The mother would have blown 50K in a few hours. Plus his obit lists about 8 siblings all with different surnames. None of them would get anything either unless the mother who took out the policy named them as beneficiaries but it says she certainly got around. Although I'm surprised an Insurance Company would even pay out as he was killed committing a violent crime. You'd think there'd be Clauses to that effect.

Regarding that first case, the deceased father’s mother is disgraceful and hateful. I wouldn’t let her within an inch of that precious child. She wasn’t grieving the loss of her son as much as she was grieving the possible loss of ALL his life insurance money. The first case was just sad. As I am sorry for her loss, Ms. Paige is not a believer in Christ. She is burdened with how she raised her own son. He was 20 and robbing people and sleeping with a child so he wasn’t raised right and had no moral’s because of who and how his mother is. As parents we have the responsibility to make sure our children develop into good people and clearly his mother isn’t one. That young girl need to just go on with her life. I agree with the judge, Ms. Paige is angry because of her son’s death. PLUS, there was a prior attempt to make her son the father of the baby but was proven false.
