But they target that’s she is a minority and that’s how she got in. Yeah she is one but she still got intelligence. People be pressed and act like oh because you were this you took a spot. How about be proud. I don’t see people commenting on a white child or Asian child that they were only allowed because they are white/Asian. (Sometimes it can be true, some places are still very racists, or have racists intentions). If they got accepted, congratulations. I mean I don’t personally like Harvard but it really can be a luck on how well your paper is or how well one did. Regardless, I would still congratulate anyone who got accepted without paying their way without talent (aka celebs) and acting like there child is so intelligent. FOUR TIMES MORE LIKELY TO DIE FROM COVID 😷, as well as other respiratory nasties. -But we can't talk about these things because it's NEVER the, "right time," for those who don't wanna hear it. Another thing... both Harvard and Yale LOWER the academic requirements/standards for black/Latino student applicants, (something her teacher knew ahead of time), so the likelihood of this bright young lady being accepted into such a prestigious and politically-charged institution like Harvard or Yale was VERY high, as these two institutions have an "equity" ideology. Their "equity" ideologies also include, (something I don't agree with), RAISING the academic requirements/standards for admission for ASIANS, (PENALIZING THEM FOR TRADITIONALLY PRODUCING THE MOST BRILLIANT STUDENTS ON THE PLANET), because these two institutions believe that hard-working Asian students are OVER-REPRESENTED in their universities. 👀. So the schools make it HARDER for THEM to get in. True story. ☝🏼 By the way... if this is the old Paterson East Side High... (the same school that was run by notorious school Principal Mr Joe Clark) ... we can thank him for risking his career/reputation for taking extreme measures to save the lives/futures of these struggling youth. -Watch the movie, "Lean On Me," feat. Its fine everyone has a different POV. Some people are just more ambituous than others
@jetlifing2 жыл бұрын
maina my comment is not to downplay her or any other kid’s ambition..it came from the place of knowing and seeings kids get wrapped up so much in the societal BS of “you gotta go to college, the more expensive the better” to be successful ..and so many of these kids excel in academia but have a tough time translating that into real world success because they lack the common sense/street smarts and knowledge on things they don’t teach in school. No kid should have to go through 6 years of undergrad/graduate schooling and still have to live at home because they can’t afford to be a self sufficient adult, and I see that all the time
@briancheong20872 жыл бұрын
@@jetlifing poeple like you man. the more expensive the better? no coherent person has ever said that. The only belief that some may argue to be bs is the better the college you go to the better. But even so thats not bullshit. Its only bullshit for less driven students who don't want to pursue something that seems so high and difficult. But if you are drive, adept, and motivated, you dont lock your ambitions to a school; you lock your ambitions to scholarly success, and the result of your dedication can pretty accurately be measured by how good (in other words, how competitive) of a school you get into. And dont for a second try to pull up the shit about "book smart but not street smart." thats bullshit people who arent motivated in school say to feel better in light of the success of others. Success in education is the general prerequisite for whatever economic, emotional, "street" success you want. Dont bullshit if you haven't been experienced real educational epiphany

4.9???? she is so amazing bruh
@LogansAngel88892 жыл бұрын
A 4.9? Damn I’ve only graduated in 2006 but dang you definitely learn something new everyday don’t ya. THE MORE U KNOW. Lol. I never though the gpa number went past 4.0. I meant it’s been like that my whole life even after I graduated last year with my major in biology I needed a 3.8-4.0 to get into dental school cuz I’m becoming a orthodontist. Even while I’m going into my 2nd year at dental school I have straight As and it doesn’t go past 4.0. Like obviously I don’t give a damn about some numbers That dictate our GPAs I just always thought it never went past 4.0. But the east coast is obviously different from us over here in the west here in Seattle I transferred from California after I graduated last year from Berkeley. I got early acceptance with my 4.0 and they only select 20 students a year for the dental program and Seattle pacific university. What totally threw me off tho that it’s one of the most prestigious dental schools in the entire country yeah I said it ENTIRE COUNTRy. And I should be proud to be here cuz it’s 11 long ass years to be a orthodontist it’s been my passion since 4th grade. I’ll be turning 32 next month and be 34 when I graduate from dental school I’ll be all done and a full fledged orthodontist with my own business. And why u ask how did I get my own business well let me tell y’all how. My old orthodontist who put braces on me and take a guess what grade I was in? Yup u guessed right 4TH grade lol as I mentioned above this novel I’m writing about my life lol but hey sorry I’m not sorry nobody asked u to read it but you’ve come this far already so keep reading I’m almost done. So my oldie is gonna retire and let me take over the business and be my secret consultant if I ever need anything for my daily operations as I transition into his business and make it my own. I’m Interning with him right now and so I’m already building clientele as we speak. And our patients we are putting braces on now. I’ll be able to take them off ALLL BY MYSELF when I graduate in two years from dental. The average progress for full set braces of 2.5-4 years depending on many many factors. But that’s the average so as I intern Wirh him I’m already going to not have to worry about taking his name off the building and putting mine up there becuz the community is already getting to know me this past year I’ve been interning in dental school. I’m telling all my other team mates to that I’m so thankful and greatful my orthodontist has known me since I was a kid. And mind u I got braces on AGAIN when I turned 25 never wore my retainer lost it in high school lol. Uhhh sorry I’m not sorry 🤷🏽🤣😂😂🤣. So anywho I’ve got everything setting in place of course things could always change but I’m forever lucky I have my own business before I show the dental board how much I love and care and passionate I am to become a orthodontist. This is my damn dream for as long as I can remember since 9 years old whatever age you are in 4th grade it’s besides the point I’m trying to make. But as I continue to do great things in life and show that I care about what I’m doing I’ll be one of the best on the west lol. Now that’s a definite SORRY IM NOT SORRY COMMENT lol. Cuz I know I’m great I know I’ll be one of the best I’ll never be THE BEST cuz why would I even say that nowadays ppl gonna shoot you on sight for saying that kind of crap. I’ve learned over the years you never say something like that to ppl cuz they all be carrying guns to a knife fight. I guess you gotta show you ain’t got the balls to fight y’all rather just shoot somebody and runaway like a lil coward. I don’t care what y’all think of my comment but y’all ain’t gonna sit here and convince me otherwise right ? When I say y’all I don’t mean every human being I just mean the cowards who bring a gun to a knife fight like why must you prove something to ppl that oh wow you are THE BEST sir or mam cuz you done brought a gun to start wailing and shooting at ppl cuz u to scared to be a grown up and talk out your problems. Gosh it makes me think back in the 90s how my parents didn’t even care how late I came home as long as I was home by the time the street lights came on it was all gravy. I would ride my back all over town and nothing happened but now. You let your kids walk out the door to the bus stop you pray everyday that they don’t get snatched up and sold to the highest bidder for there sadistic pleasures. It’s the world we live in now everyone knows that it’s. Nothing new you ain’t heard of before becuz it’s gotten recognized in 2015 and still going. We have the technology to make electric cars more common now and cell phones that take better pictures then a 1500 camera. But yet we can’t figure out how to save our kids from being taken or have the upmost strict gun laws for America. Becuz why can’t we do this. Cuz you’ll see w much bigger crowd storm the capital then the 1st time and the people will win. Anyways everyone thanks for taking time to read my novel and listen to my thoughts. Pls don’t ridicule me about nothing I just want everyone to STAY ALIVE BE VIGILANT BE AWARE BE THE BEST YOU CAN BE and if you got kids. Show them this world we are bringing them into is not bad for THERES NO FATE BUT WHAT WE MAKE. Now go let yo kids watch the terminator. I’ve lived by that quote since I watched terminator at 6 years old I love those movies. Lol. I just had to say I quoted it from that movie otherwise some wiseass on here is gonna flip out and say. You got that from terminator. Well guess what I beat ya to the punch ya bully and said I did. Now sorry I’m not sorry and y’all go to bed aight. Much love and just remember. Try to c the good in everyone cuz not everyone is evil and even the evil still have a sliver of good left. I mean look at my boy Darth Vader. He redeemed himself not only to his son but to the entire galaxy who always thought he was evil but his son was the only one who felt the good that was still barely flickering. Darth Vader loved him that’s why he couldn’t just sit there and let the emporer kill his child. God I love Star Wars to so so much lol. I can’t wait to have kids and little mermaid ain’t gonna be the first movie it’s gonna be the clone wars since it’s cartoons then they gonna start watching Star Wars at age 5. Oh it’s gonna be epic. Lol. Ok ok I’m done talking YALL. Love you all so much and just remember PLZ BE KIND AND REWIND. Now I know my ppl who my age hated seeing that on them video tapes right lol. Aight night night MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU ALWAYS
