Back in the day I saw this fabulous singer live at Frankfurt Music Hall first row and when they played the first chord of Sunshine I yelled out 'Sunshine' at Alex and he pointed his finger at me saying, you got it boy. As a soulful 17 year old this track in 84 was the weak link in the album - too heavy and loud for my liking - and then it was all about the timeless gem 'Whats Missing'. Now some 36 years later ! this track is one of my favs from the album no doubt. Amazing how personal experiences through time influence feeling and attitudes you had previously.
