I first heard this back when I was 15, I couldn’t get enough of it, I’m 28 now and an old soul, and I still can’t get enough of it, just a groove that’s contagious. Soul music never really died, it’s not a genre it’s from the heart to reach the heart. When you take words, melodies, irresistible, insatiable grooves, slow or fast, and sing it from the depths of your heart, that’s soul. Soul music lives on now because the human spirit never dies. Mr. Gaye was the Master and the truth, people my age even groove to his music, he was the man. Mad respect and continue to Rest In Peace (1939-1984) ❤️😊🎶🎶🎶🎶 #SOULLivesOn

The original version of "Life's A Game of Give and Take" from the "In Our Lifetime?" sessions. The tapes/reels had ended up in a private collection and were UNLABELED!!! The person just happened to listen to them one day and had an "OH, S###, I THINK THIS IS MARVIN GAYE!" moment. They made a phone call and the rest is history. The entire original sessions could have ended up in the trash.

I came across this song yesterday and that was my first time hearing it and I love it, Marvin Gaye was such a talented black man in his time. I truly miss him i really wish he did not try to commit suicide each time he tried he would fail i truly believe he miss Tammy Trell so sickly that's the only way i believe that was part of his misery and among other things in his life. Rest Peacefully & Sleep In Paradise my love💖💟💙💚💛💜❤

Nonetheless, "Marvelous" Marvin gets the job done miraculously with this here. This jam is dope, I had to bring it back to just listen to the chords and melody changes throughout. The band is awesome. Yeah, give this an A++ family. Long live the genius of Marvin Gaye.
