PATH DESIGN IDEAS for Disney Dreamlight Valley!

I am not the biggest fan of the paths in disney dreamlight valley but is there a way to make the paths look better? In this video I am experimenting with some different path ideas! I hope this video helps to inspire you when it comes to decorating in the game!
What is Disney Dreamlight valley?
This is a brand-new game that is still in early release and available on multiple platforms including the switch! The game is very similar to other cosy games such as Animal Crossing New Horizons and Stardew Valley. There are plenty of things to do and some great quest lines with your favourite disney characters!

Great ideas, thanks! Consider planting wheat or other crops in small patches along the side of your paths. A lot of minecraft designers have done this and it looks great. Not sure how it will turn out in DLV though.

These are great! About curves… there is someone who made tutorial using rocks to create the curved path. She said you got to start by just placing the rocks creating the curved path you want and then fill it in with the path of your choosing. And finally play around with the rocks so it has a more natural look and making sure they cover spots the path doesn’t entirely cover.

Thank you SO MUCH for sharing this! I have been playing on Xbox, and it seems nearly impossible to extend the paths. The grab and drag is just not working for me. This is a great fix and looks so cute!

Mmh I got a problem where items dissapear when moving things around and then saving. just started to happend today. It is like it dosent save properly. I lost 2 pillars over this bug and i have not seen any youtuber mention this bug :/ it is really annoying.. specially for items that you can only get by leveling up... Made me scared of building in the game with my objects if i dont have copys of it.. I joined the disney vally discord aswell and it seems to be a huge problem with people even losing their disney NPC houses to this bug.. even someone lost their own house. I really want to build my vally but just rn trying to move plants and stones.. i got this bug again.. it didnt delete stuff but when getting out of edit it had regenerated some bushes i had removed... (wich is a sign of the bug) i am scared to touch my vally before this is fixed and it really sucks :(

I don't like the paths either! I use shells for Ariel's home, but if you do this they stop spawning 😭

How do we get more path pieces? I've found that I don't have enough to make the path flow to make it look good throughout each biome.

You should be able to craft them!

@@Fleurs_ that's what I was thinking and it looks like I have the "recipe" for all the paths but when I go to a crafting table the ability to craft them isn't there.
