I put down very symillar build but i put Cold snap on Cast on freeze. It is way more efficient(every 3-4 freezes). It auto-pops frozen mobs pretty nicely. And Im using Comet manually. I buffed it with both Echo and Cascade (i think) so when I cast it Comet hits 4 times. It destroys elites and melts the bosses. I use Frost walls without Icycle. I do want to immobilise enemies. My comet has 3 second cast time, so everything have to be frozen or behind the wall. It is very enjoyable build and also very safe. I can recomend it to everyone.

I use similar setup but I replace cold snap on cast on freeze with hypothermia for bosses..and on comet I use spell cascade and unleash and arcane tempo...if you addd spell echo castime becomes huge.... Cascade+unleash gives 5 comets... Spam walls and comets bosses melt. And I put clarity on cast on freeze for mana lol coz it's not broken now...I'd rather have mana rege

Had fun with the Comet skill, it basically deletes everything on screen, especially with Spell Echo buff and Frost Wall. The impact causes the walls to explode with extra huge AOE damage.

Question: why do you not get those starting Passives to increase spell damage? Any particular reason? Because that accumulates to 36% spell damage you're missing out on by skipping them in your tree

the problem was never the campain it was scaling into maps the skill is dead because it can't scale anymore with a 90% nerf.

first 30 spirit is from a side quest in Act 1, later on you get more from gear items etc.

i am new to PoE, started with this class, solo self found. Been having tons of fun. I got to a point where I feel ok I did something with the build, I want to see how other people do this. I currently struggle in tight spaces, died on tier 2 map yesterday - very tight space with a ritual in it. Will try putting comet or Cold Snap onto cast on freeze, maybe swap between the two depending on tight/open spaces. Like your idea of taking shock on the ascendancy, something def to think about. Gotta look closer into what you have specced on tree as well, ty for the video!

I am wondering why none try to cold snap that moving frost bolt? I spam cold snap to destroy mob man. My snap deals 28K damage from 1 moving bolt. Times 3 with scatter shot. My only problem is mana regen.. always drain

@@capt.sparrow8898 i mean, the issue is not having to do things. But on maps at endgame you just need to be doing more powerful stuff than popping 3 orbs with 2 abilities or it'll take forever

Really nice adaptation! I didn't really change my build much after the cof nerf, frost bomb and ice wall with frostbolt was still getting me by and I still ran cof comet just for bosses and rares, but adding elemental invocation was huge. Even after the nerf the build did bosses pretty much the same, but clearing mobs is so much faster now with the banked instant cast comets. My tree looks a decent bit different than yours, I went for the energy reservation nodes and increased damage of invoked spells, and didn't pick up as much es stuff, but still very survivable. Also went all in on arcane surge grabbing all 4 points there for my ascendancies so far and have been stacking mana. Thinking about going Eldritch battery since I have es on my gear and some nodes and I've been stacking life on all my gear.

I think when you're in the menu for upgrades, you go to like "All" at the bottom left, and you can then see all the upgrades for all classes. You can just search it in the bottom from there.

I put mine on the second slot. Ie first is comet then spell echo. It does work.

I was curios to see someone else's tree for a cold sorceress and i am surprised by it. Did not expect such a heavy focus on defenses. I assumed one wouldn't need so much with the entire build revolving around freezing things up in place and walling enemies off with the frost wall. Also, how's the reduced crystal health going for you? I thought about getting it but i noticed my comets already reliably break them and sometimes i actually need the walls to be...walls, so the reduced health would not help with that.

Some projectiles and enemies still phase through the frost walls. It's a bit buggy

Honestly I think you're tree is probably better. I'm not sure what level he is in this video but I'm in tier 1 maps and my tool tips are like 2.5x higher than his and I still feel like I do zero dmg.

Tried CoF in maps. Maxxed out everything. I learned that speccing off of CoF increased my damage, my survivability, and clear speed considerably. CoF became pointless. Spend your spirit elsewhere

All gampley showed is vs elite, rare or bosses. You are wiil be very struggling vs normal monsters. That's why you do t see im video any fight with them.

@element925 ummm, i use cast on freeze, and it's amazing. Proper setup, shater, a lot of freeze buildup, and it trigers multiple times even on boss fights. It's not as op, but only getting it after the Nerf gave me a different kind of appreciation. Trigers on most of the packs and if not, there's always shater

I run the same build I have been running with same CoF setup. Works great. Also.. is early access. CoF wasn’t nerfed. It was very over tuned and that was corrected. That’s not the definition of a nerf.
